Yes he definitely deserves someone who chooses him as her #1. He is someone who values bonds and relationships more than death. We saw how he treated FFBs mum, his father, his men (I dont mean Jing and CX😝), MaoQiu and XY so I will be very disappointed if there is someone whom he can replace as the love of his life. For me, the pull of this character is his unwavering loyalty/devotion. I wish Hong Jiang could have surrendered so that he didnt meet with such a horrible end.
What about the ratings for "Lost you forever" ? Do you think, it could leave room for a sequel?
My personal opinion.. I think s2 is deserving of the lower ratings because it is really not as good as the first. Everything including the main characters went downhill exponentially. I LOVED many individual scenes like the fenglong wedding, XY+CX fight and the final battle but the show just couldn't hold them together. And there was really more crying than i could tolerate. 🥶🥶🥶 NOOOO sequel please for me! Im a huge XL fan but he is better off dead than reuniting with XY like some have suggested. She and Jing are happy and belong together. All is good. 😊 Maybe a sequel can be a story about XYs daughter.
What i do wish (but will not happen) is that they rework on the entire s2 to follow the quality of s1.
