A little ridiculous and frustrating at some points (like I’m so sure Qinyi has a rejection kink), but I still found it enjoyable enough to watch, even with all the sudden plots they threw in. I think the hate is overhyped, but hey, it’s just not some peoples cup of tea and that’s alright.

I get that. I find it intrusive and off-putting. The most annoying people of this series were Lu Xin and Huai’en (muyang’s body guard). I just can’t stand people who are so overprotective that they become bulldozers to any perceived slight. But at least Lu Xin had a personality outside of Shuang
