I hate Uncle Lou! Anybody that kills innocent people for revenge doesn't deserve succed in their revenge because they are not differnet from the villains.

Okay.... ML never ever asked FL to forget her revange. He stopping her killing the chanceler didn't mean she couldn't have her revange. If she had trust him, they could have tought in a better revange plan that wouldn't get FL killed.

As I see, what made ML upset is that FL still didn't trusted him and also that she didn't seems to thinking in having a life with him after the revange even tought she had promised him that they would have a new life toghther after the marriage.

FL also knows that she wasn't 100% correct, thats way this time is she the one going after ML. She is trying to take care of him bc she knows he wans't wrong.

She didn't spend 15 years with memories od the masacre, she didn't remembered it. She had nighmares and felt something was off about the case and also grived her parents death, but she didn't had any trauma of the massacre bc she didnt remebered it.

ML in the other had spent 15 years with the memories of thoses deaths and also with the weight of not have any power to really protec her (even tought he kept looking after her).

And also, she knows how is to live with the grief. How did she expected ML to keeping living if she had did for the revange? He would have spent all the rest of his life with the guilt for not have been able to protect and save her.

She knew he had dedicated 15 years of his life, she knew he had gonne against his father to help her, she knew that has forgive her for all the times she used and manipulated him, she knew he would give everything to make her happy. Durign all the drama, it was him forgiving her even if she not asked sorry and him asking for forgiviness even whe he wasnt completly wrong. He neeeever got made at her, why the is it all his fault to get made one time?

You understand she wasn't in her best condition, but you cant undertand he also wasn't? He almost saw the love of his life lose his life...

I do think he knows she likes him, but he tried to make her trust him and she still decided to dribing him way. He can't force her to stay by his side, he just accepted her decision and let her go.

In the White Asura case, FL stopped the maid of killing herself bc if she killed herself there would be no one to testify against the eunuch responsible for her sister death. If FL could see this in that case, after she calmed, she should also be able to see that ML was right

During all the dramas, ML has put FL in first place. She pretty much forced himto help her in the investigantion of ep 01 and also manipuleted the situation to force ML's father to talk after the scandle that almost made they be engaged. She always acted as she wanted and ML neve hold it against. No even one she told his father that she was only using him.

ML would give everything to her, but I think what hurted it is that in this conversation she told him that she never really planned to have a life with him even after she get her revange. And she even sayed to him that he only stopped her bc he didn't wanted his family be implicated, she questioned his loyate and love for her even after everything he had done before (he had even gone against his father for her)

She could habe told him before that she was only getting engaged to him out of necessity and he would have accept. She could have asked him to cancel the engagement and he would also accept. He wouldn't force her to do anything.

But she lied to him about it, you can't blame him for fell betrayed after have dedicated the last 15 years of his life to her only to discover that the promess that she made to him to have a new life toghter after the marriage was a lie.

Hii! Sorry keeping ask, but I saw a comment that says that the main villain is the Chancelor, its true? Bc if it is yes, this is the most obvious answer, from the first case we can kind of for him and his family be in the bad side (all the bad things involves him, the consort shu and his family). I'm in ep 5, the first case was nice but something is a bit off :(

Hi! But the cases and the plot are good? For me, the most important is that the story makes sense, I really hate when the cases don't follow any logic or things are magically resolved (one bad exemple is The Truth Within, it was so obvious how was the culprit in each case and the investigations didnt really make much sense...)

Xie Yong Er is the main lead of the book and in the history she is a charachter that transmigrated into a story. So she thinks she is a real person that is inside of a book, but all her memories from the real world are just part of the book story (as the memory of the other charachter)

Sooo... She is a 2D charachter that thinks she is 3D.

If you want to control a drama meaning, you need get of comments and do a drama by yourself.

The drama didnt failed bc you didn't fell what you wanted to fell. It was a sucess and achieved what the production team wanted and was able to ressonate with a looot of people. If the origal wants a sucess, they would have bothered in doing a remake.
