It was better than expected

Honestly, I had low expectations with the series since it was a mini series. I didn't expect for the execution of the story to be god-tier. Undeniably, there are plot holes such as lack of police presence. But then again, we need to understand that this series probably had limited budget. The male leads are also a little problematic in their own ways given that this was already in 2021. For example, MJ's role publicly confessed his love. Rocky's role had the tendency to low-key force the FL. While, for the ex-bf, need I say more?

But HEAR ME OUT. I'm not saying this because I'm an Astro stan but we need to realize that they were not mainly trained to be actors. They are idols. BUT, Rocky's performance is just 😗🤌💋. I can't explain it through words but he doesn't act awkwardly, no cringe at all -- he's such a natural. He really got me in the finale episode when he started crying. I WAS SHOOKT!! He ain't my bias but, deeeym, I'm like a one proud mama bear at that moment. Similarly, MJ really brought justice to his character. He was so consistent with his persona. You have to watch the drama to get what I mean.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the cast, the FL is also a great actress. She's genuinely gorgeous and talented. She needs to have her big break in the mainstream media. Also, for the actor who played Yoo Go Gyeol, he succeeded on making me curious about his character. He's good.

Overall, it was a good drama. If you have been watching kdramas all your life, it might come as a little predictable. But, it will still have you guessing all throughout the series.
