It was better than expected

Honestly, I had low expectations with the series since it was a mini series. I didn't expect for the execution of the story to be god-tier. Undeniably, there are plot holes such as lack of police presence. But then again, we need to understand that this series probably had limited budget. The male leads are also a little problematic in their own ways given that this was already in 2021. For example, MJ's role publicly confessed his love. Rocky's role had the tendency to low-key force the FL. While, for the ex-bf, need I say more?

But HEAR ME OUT. I'm not saying this because I'm an Astro stan but we need to realize that they were not mainly trained to be actors. They are idols. BUT, Rocky's performance is just 😗🤌💋. I can't explain it through words but he doesn't act awkwardly, no cringe at all -- he's such a natural. He really got me in the finale episode when he started crying. I WAS SHOOKT!! He ain't my bias but, deeeym, I'm like a one proud mama bear at that moment. Similarly, MJ really brought justice to his character. He was so consistent with his persona. You have to watch the drama to get what I mean.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the cast, the FL is also a great actress. She's genuinely gorgeous and talented. She needs to have her big break in the mainstream media. Also, for the actor who played Yoo Go Gyeol, he succeeded on making me curious about his character. He's good.

Overall, it was a good drama. If you have been watching kdramas all your life, it might come as a little predictable. But, it will still have you guessing all throughout the series.

Do not romanticize nonconsensual acts

This series was released in 2019 however, it still shows how mainstream media in the country romanticize nonconsensual acts. It also takes the concept or r-p- very lightly. In the episode when Kot met Ki's aunt, she said that she was r-p-d by Ki. IT'S A CRIME! You don't marry your r-p-st, you send them to jail else that's stockholm syndrome kicking in.

Likewise, in Episode 10, Ki kissed Kot when she was unconscious. Need I explain more? Moreover, Ji just watched this happen. In the next day, they acted like it was a small thing.

Never be a fan of forced kisses even if he/she is good-looking af.

This is really problematic.

Annoying FL and disappointing execution of drama cliche

Viewers can only tolerate childish acts and squeaky voice to some degrees. The portrayal of the actress in the character added to the reason for dropping this. I really had to fast forward the scene where she just got out of the factory warehouse and it's raining hard. It was too cringey for me to watch.

Moreover, the drama used cliche plots. Other cdramas succeeded in using cliches (i.e. falling into your smile, a love so beautiful, unforgettable love, etc.) but this one didn't. Also, you don't kiss people when they are drunk and has no capacity to properly give consent. Come on, it's 2021.

It has all the drama tropes we need

It's the perfect drama. It's so good that I was able to finish all 34 episodes in 2 days. It has all the drama tropes which will make us all "kilig". Also, everyone fits their character especially male and female lead. Zhou Yu Tong's acting and visual really fit her character. When she's a domineering boss, her make up and outfit are so on point. When her character is calm and innocent, they just remove the heavy make up and that magic does everything. She has an amazing portrayal of her character. And Simon Gong, I don' know where to start. How can he be so perfect for the character? His eyes are really talking all throughout the drama. His visuals are indeed no joke.

I'm also happy that they did not force this to be a medical drama thus avoiding medical inaccuracies.

Also, if you are a fan of rekindled love, this is perfect for you.

I BADLY NEED A SEASON 2!
