LIGHT COMEDY IN A SAEGUK DRAMA
I watched this drama because of Kim Hye Yoon and not only that, I continued watching because this is the first time I’ve seen Ok Taec Yeon in a Hanbok and it looks so good on him! THE VISUALS! OMG!STORY (8/10): As a fan of historical dramas, this is the first time I’ve watched a light comedy theme set up in a Saeguk drama. This may not be everybody’s cup of tea but I think it is refreshing and is fun to watch. The drama focuses also on resolving different problems as inspector on each episodes. Ok Taek Yeon, the now secret royal inspector is joined by Kim Hye Yoon together with the other supporting characters.
I just wished that the build-up of romance between the ML and FL was focused on to increase the chemistry between them. Due to lack of these, whenever they are onscreen and does the romantic scenes, it comes off awkward, at least, for me.
ACTING/CAST (10/10): I think Ok Taec Yeon and Kim Hye Yoon did a great job on the characters. They are known to be good actors based on their previous work. Comparing with Let’s Fight Ghost, again, Ok Taek Yeon is joined by 2 friends/sidekicks. I hope they stop doing this T_T
As I’ve said, I wished the love line had a proper build up. Here I am also hoping they’d pair up again in a romance genre. LOL.
Overall, this is an 8/10 for me because I am all for romance and these are my biases. However, if I was ask to recommend this one to a KDrama newbie, this won’t be on my list. HUHU

I REWATCHED A LOT OF TIMES!
STORY: (10/10) I was intrigued by the storyline of this one. It is complicated, unique and confusing that’s why I am totally captivated. This may not be liked by a lot but telling a story about a human who suddenly appears in a comic book is refreshing unlike the typical drama we had right? Then as the story progress you’ll find the comic book character is already falling in love with the human and is already in the real world. HAHA. I just love the uniqueness of this drama.ACTING/CAST: (10/10) Not a fan of Lee Jung Suk and this is the first drama where I saw Han Hyo Joo. Nevertheless, I think that the casting of the main leads is good because of their chemistry. Lee Jung Suk portrays well the character of a rich handsome man. For Hyo Joo, I find her adorable. Aside from Oh Sung Moo, the side characters weren’t that impactful though. Still rating this a higher one because of how I loved this drama. :D
REWATCH VALUE: (10/10) One of my go-to dramas when I feel like re-watching an old one! Still feels good on the 2nd watch!
OTHER FACTORS:
CGI: This drama requires a lot of CGI because the drama’s genre. One thing that’s questionable is the CGI on Oh Sung Moo’s (Yeon Joo's father) face. That’s just weird.
OVERALL: (10/10) Absolute masterpiece! If you’re a fan of rom-com and comic book based dramas with a hint of suspense and slight action, you might wanna check this out!

"YOU GOT THIS! FIGHTING GIRL!"
I found this drama a well-executed webtoon adaptation as compared to True Beauty in terms of editing and acting.STORY: (8.0/10) This drama catch my attention because of hype and I expected a lot. Well, I had so much fun watching the first few episodes and experiencing all the romantic excitement in all the cliché scenes. This drama is lighthearted. No complicated plots and issues encountered are being solved easily.
ACTING/CAST: (10/10) Casting was on point! Kim Se Jeong is really good in acting this kind of character and Ahn Hyo-Seop has that vibes of a young, cold yet good-looking president! The second leads has their own charms therefore you won't find yourself skipping their parts only to watch the main leads.
OVERALL: (8.0/10) To be honest, since this are no complicated plots and this is just a light drama, I am glad that it has only 12 episodes. Actually, I am thinking if 8 episodes will do :D The last episodes felt rushed and reduced the drama's charm. I don't know. Maybe its just me. Haha!
PS: Well, the English conversations between Young-So and her cousin is always so fun to watch! You got this! Fighting girl! LOL.

I did not regret watching this!
I stopped watching this drama at Episode 6… and then heard and saw spoilers until the drama ended. Even though I already knew the ending, I can’t resist and I am still curious of the whole story that’s why I continued watching from where I left.ON THE STORY: The drama is set mostly in the 90s going back and forth in the present time. A sports-themed drama which focuses on achieving dreams, love, friendship and family. I love the fact that they did not focus only on romance but on many different aspect.
In a long time, I am glad that there were no love triangle between the main leads. The rivalry between Na Hee Do and Ko Yu Rim were not annoying and I loved the character development between the two characters. I also liked the unexpected friendship made by the five characters. Each of the characters have their own unique story to convey.
ON THE CASTING/CHARACTERS: For me, Kim Tae Ri acted so well that I can’t think of any actress who can play the role of Na Hee Do other than her. Hee Do as an athlete is a very inspiring character. Her character development is also well seen. Then there’s Nam Joo Hyuk who stars again in a sports-themed drama. I am not a fan of his acting on this one, feels like it isn’t remarkable in my opinion. Bona who played Ko Yu Rim got me hating her the first few episodes. You’ll love her character when she started to open up especially when she became friends with Hee Do. Choi Hyun Wook (Moon Ji Ung) and Lee Joo Myung (Ji Seung Wan) were great characters too and compliment well on the group. The portrayal of their friendship isn’t awkward but the slow development felt more realistic.
ON THE ENDING: If I were Hee Do, I would’ve done the same thing. I think their LDR wouldn’t work either, in my opinion. Baek Yi Jin even accepted the job offer in New York without even telling Hee Do. I kind of accepted the ending that they’ve shown. It was realistic. It is also noticeable that the other four characters is not shown on the present day or the ending. We never even got to know who is Min Chae’s father. Nevertheless, I am well satisfied with the drama. It brought out a lot of emotions.
I am glad I continued watching this. I am also glad that Tae Ri is finally receiving recognition on her work as she rightfully deservers. Though I loved this drama, for now, my re-watch value on this is low (LOL) because of the roller-coaster of emotions I felt the whole time I was watching this. It has a lot of good moments and lots of drama which made me cry (Refer to specific scenes on the picture above! You’ll know what I mean.)
RECOMMENDATIONS: This drama is slightly similar to the Reply series in terms of the setting and the various stories involved. Another similar drama with a lighter story is Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo, also a sports-themed drama that stars Nam Joo Hyuk.

LIGHT AND FEEL GOOD DRAMA OF 2016
2016 had a lot of quality dramas! Weightlifting Kim Fairy Kim Bok Joo was one of them. This drama, for me, is light and feel good amidst all the rollercoaster ride of emotions I felt on all the dramas I watched on that year.STORY LINE: (9.0/10) The story focuses mainly on how the characters fight in chasing their own dreams. The drama is set up in an athlete college campus. Some scenes were cliché but I guess it goes well with the theme of the drama. Along with a slice of romance, you'll also witness friendships, family and self-love.
ACTING/CAST: (10/10) From the leads and supporting actors, I think they have chosen the good ones. I couldn't think of other actors playing their parts. The Swag Bestfriends have shown great chemistry!
MUSIC: (10/10) Well, I have some saved in my playlist. :)
REWATCH VALUE: (7.0/10) I rated only 7 because if comparing to other lighthearted dramas, this won't be on top of my list.
OVERALL: (9.0/10) All-in-all, this drama is a good watch. I recommend watching this after you've finished a makjang drama! :)
