I don't understand that in 2023 they keep dragging things so much for shows like this, being in Korea or anywhere else. A little suspense is fine, but like this it's really annoying, nobody like that seriously.
I just realised that this show is just like "It's Okay Not To Be Okay". It started well, but it's becoming a big fail, a total disappointment for me. And all this hype around it in the comment section, talking about mental health issues and all, so many people patronising others, believing they know all and have understand better than others the messages of the show... Well, for me, that's all bullshit. In the end, that's maybe not the dramas that are that bad (well, that might be harsh, not so good would be better), but the viewers that are the problem.
Why making such assumptions ?I know Korea, having lived there for quite some time, and having family, real Koreans, who live everyday there too, not only through articles from newspapers. That's why I am confident in saying that fast judgements like this one should be avoid. I never wrote that Korea has a perfect and problem-free society, but categorising it as "abusively misogynistic and evil" is wrong.
Well, the production is a little bit better than episodes 3 to 6, but the story doesn't make it for me anymore. Too bad, it had such a great start. I still hope I'll like the end but, at this point, I doubt it. Whatever the kind of romance, I find stories that make the couple reunite only at the final episode more and more annoying, except for few exceptions.
Oky so i'm confused. So will he fall in love with his sister or what?🤔
They are not related by blood, in the manhwa Hong Rang's father his a servant of the family whom the lady, the head merchant wife, fall in love and have a child with (Hong Rang), while the merchant has a daughter with another woman. But the story is quite complicated honestly.
Obviously we don't seek the same things in historical dramas, and we definitely not have the same view on what is historically accurate. But one thing though. Do you live in Korea ? If not, don't be so quick to describe its society as "abusively misogynistic and evil", because you definitely don't seem to know what you're talking about.
Not sure what you mean by that. But if it's having a female character that overpower all men around her, and them being only portrayed just like evil or dumb characters, it will be a poor sageuk and, once again, just an historical drama that use an historic background to display a current times story without taking seriously in consideration its subject. Hopefully they will be clever than that. This queen deserves a great drama, not some modern times pastiche.
Finally ! A sageuk with an interesting and original plot on an historical figure that hasn't been portrayed in a drama yet. Also, taking place in Goguryeo, which is great. I just hope they will do a great political sageuk, and not go either too hard on the feminism, as the story takes place in the first century, or to a cheesy romance or rom/com like most of the sageuk nowadays. As for Jeon Jong Seo, she was good in "Money Heist" so I look forward to her performance in this one.
But Ji Woong himself said he is happier on stage. As much as I love him as an actor, I care more about what makes…
I know, but the harsh truth is that, sometimes, in life, what you want and what you are good at are quite different. Objectively, he is a better actor than idol. He isn't an outstanding singer, raper or dancer. Sure, much more than me. ^^ He has skills. But compared to the level of idols nowadays, his skills are average I think (well, of course he totally slays the sexy concept but other than that he isn't that special). He shines much more as an actor, and not just for BL, for me.
That current ranking revealed... seriously ? Han Bin has been number one since he appeared for the audition, but now they want us to believe that he is threatened before the finale, when he always had thousands of votes ahead of others ? Nope, I don't buy that Mnet. ^^ I don't worry for him, he deserved to be number one from the start and to remain it until the end and get that solo song for the album. He isn't perfect though, as much as I like him I think he plays a little too much the fake humbleness (his talent and hard work are obvious when he performs). He may not be everyone favourite type but he is objectively good looking. He may not be the best singer but he can sing very well, and while dancing hard. He is an excellent dancer even if he is not the best. He seems to have a nice personality, even if he is not the most outstanding person, and would be very great as a leader in a group.
I just hope the child Yu Jin and the puddle Guy Vin will not make it into the finale top 9. All the others are fine for me, even if some would be better than others for the group to be well-balanced. And finally, for Ji Woong, as much as I love him, I don't want him to debut with this group because I love him way more as an actor and want to see him in more BLs. ^^
Seriously ? Isn't articles on MDL supposed to be about drama/movies projects or serious facts about actors (not their dating lives and groundless rumours) ? What's going on with the rumours articles here ? That's really garbage. Is this website becoming a cheap tabloid ?
Of course, never disappointed by Kim Seo Hyung choices. Seems like a very clever and interesting drama. I liked the first two episodes quite a lot and I'm looking forward to the next ones. And Lee Shi Woo is also a nice surprise in this.
NICE BODY.Great legs, cute butt crack.Laughed out loud when he finally reacted to being caught in the act. lolLeave…
Yes I agree, this format isn't nice to watch like this. In this case it would be better to wait for the end and watch everything all at once, but I'm sure I'll still watch the episode every week. ^^
