i think it did not stick the ending on the story front though i can understand the romance fans are happy. The threat of the PM sort of fizzled out - was expecting a bit more tension for the final episode

but that is not in character for huiju. She is always abt thinking her way is the best way and full steam ahead. her kneeling to the dad is already a desperate move - and when given a direction she starts scheming like the solo CEO she is.

from ep 8. i think the poisoning was QM's own ploy. The conversation between Jinmu and her was him using her exact samee words to warn her to back off.

they were already married in 1 of the extra chapters, but yeah don;t recall a proposal or they marrying in the main chapters

ML father was out-performing the sons of the family. Their jealousy and the ML grandfather perceiving him as a threat (company must stay within the Sheng surname- also the reason why ML was being sidelined) made them send/exile ML dad to a foreign country. He died in a terrorist attack there.

to add - since the novel author is also the screen writer, she has taken this opportunity to expand the story with drama-only sequences as well as flesh out some footnotes.

having just reread the extra chapters, was surprised to actually see in the ZX extra chapter was the
1) conversation between ZX and ZF while he was tying his shoe on NXG bragging that she lending him the money = he cannot say no to her pursuit
2) a mention of Chris between 1 of 2 ex-girlfriends of ZY - the chapter was a 10 years later retrospective by ZX

from the past promo and teasers, the scene at the airport between LYS, NXG and a little girl will likely be be drama-only, likely a peek @ their married life at the end of the show

same thoughts - although i suspect the change in flow / pacing was pronounced because 14-15 were drama-only additions.
