Mmh. It's hard to answer, since what is too much for somebody can be fine to others.
IMO they dont spend too much time on the romance part. But I like romances, so I may be biased. There is romance indeed, but they dont show them dating or anything like that.
About your second question, I wouldnt say the romance interfers in the revenge plot. It has a plot twist that makes it have something to do with the evil charcter, but I wouldnt say it interfers. Id say its a cool plot twist

Ofc everybody has different opinions and tastes. I usually read a lot of comments before starting a show, and it's incredibly the mixed feelings about most of them I read.
On top of this comments you can see the reasons I didn't like the ending. Well, I didn't hate it, it was only s bit disappointing

Do you mean at episode 3, or does she do it later again? I just saw the part she does it on episode 3 and Im so angry, episodes 1 and 2 were awesome and now he wont remember them?...

Oh man I just read he doesn't get them back. Not watching it just because if that. May seem silly for others, but like I said above, for me losing memories is like not being the same person, So it's like wasting the first 12 episodes of romance

So the second half is a romance? I wasn't sure if I should watch it because I read second half wasn't as good, but I do like romances, so if you say it turns into s romance it's even better for me

I've read a comment saying ML looses his memory, I hate that. Somebody without memories is like another person for me. Can somebody explain if it is only temporary?

Is this true? I have watched some romances where this happens and it destroys the chemistry for me

I decided not to watch this after reading all the bad comments about it. But I dont understand how it has such a high rating with all those hate comments

Can somebod spoil me if they get together before the end and we get some happy episodes with them dating, or if all the show is just getting there?

I only like happy stuff, so can I get a few spoilers before watching this?

1. How bad is the love triangle? Does she
even have feelings for sML? Does ML have a hard time because of sML?

2. When do ML and FL get together?

3. Are there several episodes where ML and FL are together and happy? Or the entire show is just to get there?

4. Is the break up long and bad?

Is it really light? I'm looking for something light, but this one looks like it has a huge love triangle, I wouldn't call all the problems love triangles cause in romances light.

Just finished it. I have mixed feelings. If you want to see an intrigue show with some funny moments, I think it's pretty good. But if you are here looking for a romance, this isn't it.

This show has some romance in it, but it is not a romance. You know how romances usually have plot that creates some trouble for the romance to happen? Here it is the opposite, the romance is here just to create some troubles for the plot.

Still, the intrigue part is cool, it is quite funny, and the pinocchio part makes it quite interesting. Acting was also good on all parts. The way FL handled the pinocchio syndrome was very cool

I hope the romance picks up later, for now its almsot non existant and they have been already dating for 3 episodes.

Disagree about the ending. I loved the show until episode 12 tho.

Just finsished it. Its a good and sweet show. But as a lover of happy endings, even if it is a happy ending, I didnt like it. More details on my comment below with spoilers.

As I say in my comment above, I think it is a good show. And it is also sweet. But the ending was very disappointing for me. For several reasons.

1. I dont only like when endings are happy, I also want to enjoy it for a while. There is no time here to enjoy the happy ending, it happens in the last 15 minutes of the show, and they want to show several things in that time, so we just get a few quick scenes.

2. In my opionion they made FL into a total jerk in the last few episodes, including the last one. ML did nothing wrong the entire show. FL insisted that he still had feelings for sFL when he clearly didnt. But she cant expect for them not to meet anymore. They work the same field, her grandmother is almsot as she had adopted him, and many other things. The only thing he does wrong is several times he has to leave, instead of just saying the reason (which always was important) he says "I had to take care of something", leaving FL suspicious. But it is only a missunderstanding. He constantly shows how he loves her and not sFL

3. The go back took far too long. Short after the break up they already show us not only how they miss eachother, but also even how she starts to understand what happened. So how the hell do they drag the break up for months.

4. She was the one to break up without him doing anything wrong, and it is him who has to go back looking for her. And she even says she needs more time, when they even showed us how she understood it was a missunderstanding. Yes, it's a wink at how he said he needed more time at the start. But he had a reason for that, he wanted to clear things up about the other girl. This time it makes no sense at all. You broke up for a missunderstanding, it should be you trying to fix things, not him.

5. After she said she needs time, it was pretty ovious they would get back. Yet she chooses this time to inform her family that they are no longer together. wtf

6. He does the performance with her, making everybody cry with how good it was. Yet, he invites her to his performance, and she wasnt even going to go at the start. WTF, even if they werent going back together how can she be such a dick to not even go see him after him playing for her. She just went at the last moment because of the words of her mom.

7. When they finally get together again, we just see a lame scene of them ordering dinner, with him beeing a total pushover for her. And then a quick fast forward in time with small scenes of their future. And that's it. Thats all the happines we can enjoy after such a journey. Disappointing.

8. The last thing we hear is her voice speaking saying how everything he hurt her was compensated with how much he comforts her, and that she already knew she loves him so much she would go back to him. Bullshit. Again, he hasnt done anything wrong to hurt her, she just missunderstood. And no, she didnt love him so much to go back for him, it was he who went back for her, and she almost didnt accept.


Imagine another kdrama, where ML would be really torn between his love for 2 women, going to see one of them, then the other, undecided on what to do because he loves both.... Well every comment and thought of FL at the breakup and after that makes it look as if this would have been such a drama. When that never ever happened in this show. He loved sFL at the start, but since the first time he kissed FL, he did not a single romance approach on sFL, he just had to see her often for other totally understandable reasons. And FL talks about him hurting her like it had been such a dramatic love story

I've read this argument before. For me there are several levels of annoyance in love triangles, but they are still love triangles.
