Just finished it. It's pretty lighthearted except for the big ass love triangle. It's not even a ligfht one, very annoying. Once it gets sorted out, the show is pretty sweet. The firendship part of the group is also awesome.
I read many comments saying they shouldnt get back, they were bad together.... did you even watch the show? What they discovered along this story, is that both of them are good people, both cared they entire time for their partner, both had always the best intentions. ç But life, be it catastrophes or just misunderstandings, took them to that terrible situation. The death of her mother, the bad timeing and luck with him being exactly that day in a policestation, when he was just trying to help some kids, she needing somebody to cry with while he thought she needed somebody to make her laugh instead.... all those things made them hate eachother. ç But once they realize that, they see how they really loved eachothers and had good intentions all the way. So I dont get all this comments about them not making sense to go back together.
FInished it. It's pretty good. But not your typical romance. Dont expect any fluff, kisses, dating and so on. It's the story of how they learn how they really cared about eachother and how they get back. I dont think it's a spoiler since it's in the name of the show :P
Heh, in both kdramas Ive seen from this actrees they tried to make her look ugly. Do they really think that putting glasses on her (fated to love you) or putting old clothes on her (go back couple) would make this girl look ugly? She is pretty awesome
Does anybody understan what the problem with her life was? They put her as if she doesn't have time for anything and is therefor misserable. It's as if having a kid is consuming her, not even having time to put on clean clothes.... Yet she doesn't even have to work and only has 1 kid without any problem as far as I understand?
What the hell. Both me and my wife work, we have 2 kids and we do fine. Why do they make it look as if caring for just 1 kid without the need to work is so consuming.
Pretty good. Not as top as some other similar shows, but still fun, sweet and cute. If you are looking for mainly happy stuff, this one is one of those. It also has something not many others have, the friendship between FL and her best firend is amazing. Even with the problem they have, their relationship is awesome.
She was my favorite kdrama actress back in the day. I wouldn't have guessed back then that Coffee Prince would…
Any info on what happened? I just watched Coffee Prince and I can't imagine that with that amazing acting she did there she couldnt do other great ones.
I just saw Coffee Prince for the first time and wow, that acting deserved an Oscar. What an amazing mix of traits her character had and she nailed them all. I havent seen her in any other drama tho
Amazing. Beautiful, funny and sweet. I have watched about 20 romances in the past months, and this is one of my favourites if not the best. And Ive watched it in 2021 for the first time.
As you see in my comment above, I loved the show. Still, I need to say I was quite disappointed with the short ending. After this amazing journey, after all that constant sweetnes, after all that longing to be together, the best you can do after 2 years apart is a hug in the interview, a conversation in the car where she refuses to talk about marriage, and a scene where he pours her a coffe. And the show ends.
Really? The last episode was 20 minutes of her preparing to leave, 30 minutes of her away and when you cant wait for her return, we just get 10 minutes, and they dont even kiss, after 2 years... It was very unexpected after how sweet this show was.
For anybody who hasnt watched the show and is reading this, dont let this comment discourage you. If you like happy endings, you could say this show has 6 episodes of happy ending. Episode 12 is amazing and from then on everything is a happy ending. Its just the final touch that was unexpectedly short and not sweet.
10 out of 20 episodes watched and I'm going to drop it; I've given it a fair chance. The newspaper office feels…
I haven't watched pinocchio, I'm still deciding if I should. But what you describe is common in many kdrama romances. It's even obvious, since most of them are over 16 hour long, they need things to slow the romance down. And those hurdles are often stupid misunderstandings, stupid sacrifices for the good of the other, stupid Love triangles, or stupid child behaviour where they need 3 dates to hold hands. :P
Has already been answered, but as somebody who hates love triangles even when it's one sided love, I will add…
Yeah go ahead. The romance part in this show is very light-hearted. They may face dangers regarding the criminal/law part of the story, but the love story doesn't have the typical tragedies or even hurdles. One time it seems ike it, but they soon talk about it and clear it.
The firendship part of the group is also awesome.
This woman is the mom of 80% of FLs :P

Omg what a whiner she is xD
