I can't get enough of Rang! Kim Bum is just playing the role too well. I know some people don't like the mermaid as his partner, but I'll just be happy whenever he becomes close to somebody.
I just finished S1, and I was only able to, thanks to Rang and the little family he built.
Episode 4 made me completely fall in love with this drama. I could watch 100+ episodes of Mama Yeon, Mama Shin Joo, and Oppa Rang, with suits and deadly charm, raising Mi Ho in a happy, violent, bacteria-free, and organic 1938 environment bwahahaha.
I have so many favorite scenes, but I'll just name two -- The Charlie Chaplin parallel scene and Yeon whispering, "Kesikya." Those scenes are overkill lol.
I'm not a fan of this genre since I was a witness to an affair as a kid, but I had to check it out because of the amazing cast.
I'm glad I did because I'm enjoying the other couple's story. I just love how everything is connected and entertwined to every aspect of their life from their parents to their work. I like the conundrum where Makoto picked the opposite of his mom as his partner but ended up being like his mom instead. That small detail with both the mom and son brewing tea for their spouses is just a perfect parallel.
I was gonna watch this but it seems like one of those depressing dramas so I may skip it.
Do you like Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, or Luo Yun Xi? If you don't like even at least one of those, then don't bother watching it lol. I hate Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet, but I love Luo Yun Xi, so I watched 39 episodes 😁
Not Lee Dong Wook and Kim So Yeon having more chemistry than him and Jo Bo Ah ☠ . This makes the romance in…
But S1 mostly revolves on just the romance. How did you finish it? Because I dropped it but picked it back up since I'm loving S2, and I'm still struggling to finish the previous season.

Episode 2: Why not divorce, people?
Episode 3: JUST DIVORCE!!!
Edit:
Episode 4: What is conscience????

P.S. Yes, I dropped it at episode 40 lol.
