I'm glad someone mentioned him. His acting is truly impressive so much so that you can immerse yourself into the sadness he is experiencing. His soul being shattered into pieces slowly is expressed through i=his eyes alone, not many can pull this.

Lady Youlu is truly despicable but it's too satisfying to see her fail in every step that she takes. At times I feel so pathetic for her trying to use her beauty and the vulnerable side of hers to lure the men she need. I'm glad that Wei shao knew what he is doing and avoiding the misunderstanding plots. Hence the plot is so well written.

On the other hand, Wei yan being a grey character and bottling up his love for FL pains me a bit. He really knew how to carry the emotions. His eyes are enough for us to see that his soul is shattering slowly by what he is experiencing. The male cast and Xuan lu's acting are not a joke, they went all out for this drama. Love it

I don't think Su zhixin is in love with Youlu.

If you are into, revenge without any physical fights you are good to go

Exactly my thought. I was wondering how the hell did he roam freely to the tomb that his father protected. He was inside there for the whole night, Marquis is insane if he didn't let anyone follow him. ZH on the other side is too careless in the wolf den setting mechanism in open in the ancestral ritual?. It doesn't make sense at all to me.
I'm still at 11 pondering whether to continue this.

Reg pacing. I think the plot itself was written like that, So editing and pacing won't be changed. Because I felt it's already too slow(May be the plot should have included the details in itself for us to be hooked all the time). But you hit the nail on head when you said illogical. Yes it is like that in almost all the things going there. But I thought it was only me but thank god you too feel the same. Almost all of them made the so called inexperienced male lead excuse but I don't feel so.

I completely agree with ZH is being played. But why didn't they show the one who took the weapon out? It should either be the servant or marquis himself(given that he is a masked one)? no one can enter Marquis resident casually that too in ancestral hall. So much is going on let's wait.

First time excuse would have literally killed him if the masked man didn't play his role. accept? He is playing things in a wolf den were even a very small mistake would kill him and ruin everything. Second chances are rare in wolf den. This is were the logic breaks. Marquis being a very cautious man in doing everything would never allow a new man came outta nowhere to be this close. That thing alone should be enough for him to analyze that it may be a trap. no?

I mean yeh it happens. But his recklessness would really ruin the entire work of each one of them working for him behind the scenes, I think trained and smart man would have been trained to control emotions. These flaws are the reason why dramas like this go down. It have potential though

About Ep 10, Even I felt that poison bottle is from Marquis himself, I still don't know if it's true but Zang Hai being trained for this alone for 10 years, well trained in not believing other's by his master repeatedly and still falling into the trap is a bit out of logic here, especially when he knew how cruel the marquis is. No way this man is gonna let zang hai roam freely without any check. I felt that he must act more like very cautious in each of his step. No doubt that Xiao Zhan is nailing, but the plot?
