I see haters on other dramas, they were literally complaining about the rating being 8.7 the other day. Not sure why.

On this drama, go to episode guide and look at the 9.6 ratings (44 raters I believe) from episode 30 to 40, which haven't been released. It's 9.6 lol. And quite spewing lies about Blooming Shanghai about it being fake. lol

The same way this drama got their ratings. Fans of the actors, fans of the directors, those who are watching the drama... etc. Look at this drama, this drama has tons of 10 ratings on episodes that weren't even released yet. That's MDL for you.

MDL isn't only English speakers. Many on here can't even speak english. Here's an example of what I'm trying to say... Take one of the best films ever made, The Godfather. What if they never put Chinese subtitles or French or Spanish... Etc. Does it take away from the film and actors themselves? No. That's my point. The rumor of people dropping it because they can't understand it is anecdotal.

omg, ep 42. Zhou Yi Wei shows why he is a master Actor. This is one of THE best CDramas ever. Watching it again and it's an amazing, suspenseful, perfectly acted drama.

As I said, whether English is available or not has nothing to do with ratings. To think English subtitles are necessary to judge the quality of a drama is so wrong. lol

Why would the rating of the drama have anything to do with whether English subtitles are available or not? People speak many different languages here on MDL.

So great to see her in Blossoms Shanghai. I loved her in The Wolf!

It must've been hard for him to film the first scene since he was involved in a serious car accident in 2006. :( I am enjoying it so much but would really love english subs because my Chinese is intermediate level only.

This drama, cast and acting are so good. I started way late, caught up fast and binged the last episodes lol. Disappointed in the low ratings here.
