This is all a result of too much pressure in society, all societies: the "have nots" unconsciously finding an outlet for their own stress and negative self-thoughts. If countries did not drive their citizens to work endless hours for little pay, if countries promoted the attitude that everyone is good at something (not "useless," not "parasites"), if people had the money and time to relax and find joy in their own lives, they wouldn't waste time taking cheap shots at those who live the lives they wish they had. The better the lives lived by the average person, the less of this any country will have. When a country is run by a few "lords" and the rest of the people are struggling paupers working themselves to death (either in school or on the job), this is what you get. While this bullying behavior cannot be allowed, each country should look at the societal systems that they have in place and work to make everyone successful and happy. This is what happens when you put too many rats in a locked cage: they eat each other alive. More space, more food, more rest, more happiness, less anger, less hate, less insanity. Pray for us all.

Hi Kasia, Does this drama have a happy ending (no details necessary)? I get tired of watching all the struggles…
Thank you!

Finally! Thank you for adding it - it was MIA since the day it was first airing on IQIYI!
Hi Kasia, Does this drama have a happy ending (no details necessary)? I get tired of watching all the struggles that end with "love in the afterlife." Thank you for providing the review; much appreciated!

I LOVED Song Kang in Nevertheless. His acting is subtle, but if you look closely at his face, you can easily see him crumbling from the inside out. The way he spirals down in Nevertheless when the leading lady rejects him is heartbreaking. His level of expression is similar to Jung Hae-In in Snowdrop, where most of the acting is in the subtle physical and facial changes. Kim Yoo Jung is very emotive, so I hope that she doesn't overpower his more nuanced and very realistic performance. Being positive, I am looking forward to seeing him holding his own with her. For example, there is a scene in Sweet Home where he is hugged by an older man, even though he/they are turning into monsters, and Song Kang just sobs and sobs. He can bring it when the role asks for it. I LOVE his acting.
