Nah every drama i been anticipating is cheeks according to all the comments 😭 is this one worth a watch?
guilty pleasure with low expectations for plot

situational comedy and romance driven (some cringey moments here and there, but I laughed at some ridiculous)

where's all the fans who said this would be amazing and jisoo would win an oscar for her acting? lolll
Fans may exaggerate as much as haters sometimes, but I doubt they’d claim Oscar unironically. Oscar’s are for movies and a western awards show. This is a Korean series.

misogyny = thinking that a kdrama is bad? are you serious???
they’re probably assuming people are part of those Jisoo haters

ML is split into two characters. In-Law character arc is to overcome his abandonment issues through this found family. But romantically, too much focus is on the boss. Poor pacing. Creators then forgot FL is one of the main characters. No storyline for her anymore. Combined with this blurry confusion of a love triangle, makes this drama difficult to watch without skipping scenes. One ML is enough.

Two In-Laws healing from loss and regret, while raising their nephew, is the hook. But I can’t even mark this as completed, after skipping so much irrelevant filler. Now I hope a this same premise gets picked up again, but with satisfying writing for both leads.

one more shitty love triangle
I’m sick. We can’t escape these old style romance even after decades. 😭

This will be my first Jisoo drama. How is her acting, particularly in romantic roles?
She's good. Not greatness, but I was impressed with her crying scenes in Snowdrop because people she was bad at acting. I didn't see what they were talking about.

If they accept the roles, I hope plot and supporting characters are also interesting.

At least in “Tyrant’s Chef” and “Lovely Runner” I liked supporting characters. Only interested in the leads influence on each other in "No Tail to Tell", and maybe fl’s backstory, the reason she distances herself from living like humans, everything else felt skippable.

youre right! it's a realistic approach tbh, her priorities are studies and school atm (parent's fault) so maybe…
agree too, it gets tired and I skim around her scenes

First time I can agree with people calling a male a simp. Male Lead’s nephew is in love with his frienemy and all his choices surround her.

At least we know it’s a kdrama, so she’s probably resentful of him as a defense mechanism against her parents who care about her success, rather than her as a person, so wants to live up to the standard but is resentful of success at the same time. Making her more frustrated. She’ll probably get her character development since he sees right through her. She’ll realize him and a few others value her self worth outside of her rank, so she doesn’t have to treat everyone like they’re her parents.
