His father's got to be the biggest loser I've ever seen. Acting all high and mighty when he literally didn't mind his wife doing one of the dangerous jobs on a daily basis but holds a life long grudge against his wife's bestfriend when the decision to go into the sea was made by two consenting adults and best friends. If he cared so much maybe he should have stopped his wife from doing a job where death can happen anytime. Then this loser spoils his son's life, having a meaningless vengeance against a person who cared for his wife the most and actually did a dangerous job along with her best friend. I've never such a pathetic loser.

Yep, even I don't get the hate. I'm not sure the people ranting even realise how complicated humans are and how resilient or stubborn they can be. And the chemistry was so real I feel baffled when I read comments about how there's no chemistry. Ironically the chemistry the guys ranting want sound like utter garbage. This seemed so genuine and the bank and forth banter was great.

I'm not sure why are people so stupid to expect the male lead to act with emotions when he is playing a cunning character whose strength is to not display emotions. I don't think it is that hard to understand that every single person displays emotions in different ways, what you consider as feelings and emotions doesn't necessarily have to be the same for everyone
