I think SMW is looking for HJE/HDS and is actually on her side. Maybe theres a twist, my theory is she killed her father because the father want to die immediately and not suffer more because he was already dying. I hope she is good and theres a twist as to why she joined the inn. She still miss HDS/HJE because she is waiting. This is my theory so its not a spoiler

I watch this with no expectations or whatsoever. I dont watch dramas based on ratings. Idc about the ratings at all, I just read synopsis and thats it, less doubt less expectations and more fun. Hope you do the same in all dramas/series.

Who are their parents? Ive watched ALP but I think its different context altoogether. Chinese dramas and MDL always do this like other dramas but sometimes you can watch this drama without watching the prequel. I hope Im right tho, I watch a lot of dramas be it sequel and prequel but one thing I learn is that you can watch anything as a stand alone and not as a part 1 or part 2.
