A live-action isn’t supposed to be a copy-paste of the anime in terms of behavior. The point is to adapt it capture the character’s essence and translate it into a real-life performance. Here, Luffy’s acting is way too cringe… i can't
The main reason to watch this is the chemistry between the two leads. Early on, everything clicked: even when the plot stretched believability, it still had structure and coherence I actually rated it a 10 at that point.
After episode 19, though, the pacing completely falls apart. The story drags, wanders in every direction, and loses its consistency. The FL and her brother are insufferable from start to finish, and the dynamic between her and the male lead feels unbalanced and unhealthy, with him constantly carrying the emotional weight of her actions.
What bothered me the most is that, by the end, you almost stop rooting for the relationship and just start feeling sorry for the ML. Because of the virus and his past experiences, there’s a clear power imbalance between him and the FL, and it often feels like she takes advantage of it, which makes their dynamic increasingly uncomfortable to watch.
That said, it remains surprisingly entertaining and oddly addictive for quite a while you always want to see what happens next. But by the final stretch, that curiosity had worn off, and I mostly just wanted it to end.
Unfortunately, I ended up quite disappointed, especially considering how strong the cast was and how good the OSTs are...
my rating is : script: 3.5 visual: 6 acting: 8.5 pacing: 5 ost: 9
🥰 nobody is asking u to watch if your life is based on hating someone
People have to actually try something and share their opinion so others know what to expect. What you’re saying doesn’t make sense this is a platform dedicated to reviews.
How it is at this point is how it stays throughout, imo.
Thanks for telling me. I’ll save my time and try something else. It’s like "Speed and Love" everyone rated it so highly, but I got up to ep 18 and found the pacing really off, and the actress was acting poorly… which is surprising because I usually like her dramas...

I honestly don’t understand why the ratings are so high. I expected something much better… especially since the acting is really bad and, three episodes in, there’s absolutely no chemistry between them.
im at ep 3 , and I’m honestly wondering if it’s worthy, it feels pretty flat & boring, the interactions lack depth, the actress’s performance isn’t convincing .And I see absolutely zero chemistry between the two leads. Does it get better later on?
at this point I just feel sorry for the ml. He’s been suffering throughout the entire story. The fl and her brother have been really awful to him. Sometimes I could understand her reactions, but other times they were just unbearable.
Hmm, I think I’m going to drop it. I’m currently on episode 18 and honestly it’s getting complicated, but the main issue with this drama is the pacing it’s really bad. As for Esther, I’ve usually loved her dramas, but in this one something feels off. She acts very robotic, and you can clearly tell she’s acting that’s the problem for me. The ML is actually a very good actor and performs well, but I don’t see any chemistry between them. It feels forced. The tension and kissing scenes are especially awkward… she’s way too stiff, her lips look frozen, and the whole thing feels uncomfortable and cringe to watch. I don’t feel any emotion from her. Meanwhile, the male lead seems genuinely invested you can tell he’s fully immersed in his role....it's sad it's a solid 5 for me.
I’m currently on episode 7 and I’m genuinely enjoying it. It really gives off that Wattpad-style series energy, but the racing theme is actually quite uncommon. And honestly, I like the second lead “Drunk” just as much as the main protagonist.
and please its worthy ? plot ? fights?
