Just done episode 8. Unfortunately, I am getting a little bored. 🥹 Not sure if I want to continue or just skip…
Oh really, you're getting bored? I'm not that far in yet, I'm only on episode 4, but so far I'm loving it.
By the way, there's a new drama called See You at Work Tomorrow that just came out. I have no idea if it's any good yet, but I thought I'd mention it in case you're interested.
There's also Dream to You coming out in July, and that's one I'm really looking forward to.
but in my perceptive it's clearly different. Dr. Romantic is a great drama without messy love triangle. it's really…
The execution of both dramas is fairly similar, but story-wise they're quite different. Dr. Romantic is much more focused on the medical aspect, whereas here the medical setting mainly serves as a backdrop.
That said, you can still clearly spot some similarities between the two.
This was quite good. I don’t really understand some of the criticism, because I watched the entire thing trying…
Exactly. The hate this drama gets is seriously overblown. It definitely has its flaws and it's far from perfect, but it's still entertaining and genuinely enjoyable to watch.
To everyone who's unsure whether to watch this drama or not. don’t let the comments and reviewers fool you. This drama is far from perfect, but it’s nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. The hate is honestly a bit exaggerated (the rating should be a 8.2). I wrote a pretty detailed review covering all the pros and cons, with ratings for the different aspects of the drama, so feel free to check it out if you want a more balanced opinion.

I get what you're saying, but I still think there are a lot of similarities in terms of the overall vibe: the visual style, the atmosphere, the balance between comedy and more serious moments, the dialogue, the directing, etc. That's mainly what I'm referring to.
I also think the writing is very strong. If you take away the love-triangle aspect, it's a really well-written drama with compelling characters and relationships.
This is probably my favorite k-drama of 2026 so far. It reminds me a lot of Dr. Romantic, which is still my #1 drama of all time. I'm only on ep 2, but I'm already hooked. The acting is excellent, the story is interesting, and the characters are so easy to get attached to. Ha Ri and Ji Ui have incredible chemistry, and the cinematography is stunning
every frame is a work of art. The pacing is perfect as well; it never feels slow, and I love how the drama takes its time to let every scene and interaction breathe. ♡

For now, I'll keep watching and see if my opinion of him changes. I'm definitely not closed off to the idea. But based on what I've seen so far, his behavior was clearly problematic there's really nothing to defend there.

What you're saying literally makes no sense.
Even if the ML had behaved the same way, I would have reacted exactly the same way. This has nothing to do with being Team ML or Team SML. The difference is that people like u are willing to overlook or minimize bad behavior just because they like a character.
I'm sorry, but if this kind of behavior is acceptable to you, it's not for everyone. We're not people's doormats. the ML himself was basically like, "Excuse me? That's not something you say to someone."
This isn't about picking sides. It's about basic respect and common sense.
is the rude in room with us? he's just not as showy with his emotions and it's not like they're really close that…
Exactly! And yet, according to a lot of people, we're the crazy ones for pointing out disrespectful behavior. That's why I can't help but think that many are simply influenced by the actor's looks. I'm convinced that if the character weren't attractive, they wouldn't be defending him this much or making the same excuses.
Being attractive doesn't excuse condescension or disrespect. Even the ML was shocked. He literally went, "Excuse me? That's not something you should say to someone." And he was way calmer than I would've been, because honestly, I would've put him in his place right then and there.
Maybe but I wonder if a second female lead acted like him would she be given the same grace. Probably not
personally I'll always call out someone when they have disrespectful or inappropriate behavior, whether it's a man or a woman. What annoys me is that people keep acting like we dislike the second ML for no reason, which is simply not true.We criticize his behavior based on what we've seen so far, and that's completely fair. And honestly, being attractive doesn't excuse everything. I feel like a lot of people forget that. Good looks don't magically make arrogance, disrespect, or condescension acceptable.
On a different note I think ppl should stop seeing chiyeon as a villain or some annoying SML, he likes hari and…
The real issue is that many of you refuse to acknowledge when a character behaves inappropriately (especially when its a guy). Instead, you overlook it because you assume he'll eventually change or get character development or because he's hot. But future growth doesn't erase problematic behavior in the present, nor does it mean people can't criticize it.
If someone acted like that in real life, most of you wouldn't tolerate it either. Pointing out disrespectful or problematic behavior is completely normal.
Wasn't he rude in Episode 1, though? The way he talked about plastic surgeons while eating with the ML was pretty condescending, especially considering he was saying it right in front of him. Are you seriously going to tell me that was okay?
Whatever most of comment section hated 2ml, I still love his character. At least this character is better than…

Yeah, and people keep acting blind to it. They'll say, "He's just not expressive enough" or " He doesn't owe him anything, he barely knows him , He wasn't rude" Like, what? It's just basic respect. This isn't even about friendship you simply don't talk to people like that. His behavior is incredibly immature, but apparently it's okay because he's handsome.
(And just to be clear, I'm talking about the character, not the actor. I have nothing against the actor at all. in fact I think he's doing a great job portraying the role. He plays the character really well it's just that I don't like the character himself).

Wait until you watch eps today. The 2ml even give the ml space to treat fl. He is, a nice person and have a best…
I haven't watched the latest episode yet, so maybe I'll change my mind later. But I'm judging him based on what the show has given us so far, and honestly, it hasn't been great. Pretending otherwise would be an exaggeration. My issue is that people were already praising him long before the latest episode. Sure, a character can develop and improve over time that's not the point. The point is that, up until now, most of the impressions he's given haven't been good.

So far, it's the best drama released this year.
