He has played villain roles before. You should watch grasshopper and his new drama with Hashimoto Kanna. whilst I do agree he plays villain, cold characters best, he does have his own charm with innocent and lovey dovey characters. what surprises me is how good of an actor he is considering is also a Jpop idol.

But at the same time what if they didn't have a past. As we know, in the old timeline, Sunjae secretly loved Im Sol. But Im Sol never really paid much attention to him.

what’s scary is how close it is to reality. rlly hits home… the celebratory party reminds me of all of my family friends and their parents who also were so obsessed with getting their kids to med schools.

If it's to do with them screaming, which alot of people did complain about, then I think they did fine. Remember they're supposed to be father and son so if one screams so does the other. If one of them is bubbly, then the other will too. Tbh, I thought their acting whichever of them you're talking about has been fine to me. They're both still young and have some room for improvement ofc. But their acting has helped me understand their character better. No hate towards you. It's just my opinion.

I think Nai said it out of anger cos of what his dad had said to him when Nai pretended to be hypnotised. You could tell in Nai's mannerisms that it wasn't genuine.

I feel the romance wasn’t the main focus which is why it was very subtle. The focus is on revenge and working as a team

Well, they paired as guest role in Home School (2023). They were rlly good as a toxic couple even though the screen time was small.

I also think that Chimon, Jane and View are doing really well for their roles. Chimon's acting was astonishing as it's the first time seeing him in this kind of role, same goes to Jane and View who I didn't know could be this badass. Apparently, Jane improvised some of her scenes according to her instagram live. No matter it looks so natural!

I think Gun is also good but it’s a real shame as his screen time is so low 😭😭😭

I believe it’s something to do with the teamwork. I’m guessing the games are designed to make each student betray eachother but due to the strong bond of some of the students, they work as a team rather than like enemies.

it’s not completely unrealistic tbh. I know someone who was abused her whole life by her mum yet till this day, she is greatful to her and said that without the beatings and criticism, she wouldn’t be here today. it’s common in Asian culture

yep. because he doesn’t want to disappoint them. as he said to mijoo, his mission is still not over so I’m guessing once things are settled and he has avenged his fathers death, he will tell his children he’s their dad, not their “oppa”.

This is rl life too. not just drama. ppl tend to overlook the mums bad actions as her son wasn’t messed up. it’s the same story with me. my mum sometimes boasts about how she hits me yet because I’m not completely messed up according to my aunties and uncles, they think what my mum is doing is right.

I completely understand. They perhaps needed to be around other kids who spoke with lots of experience but I guess they picked it up from the villagers.
