Ep11 is little weak compared to the rest personally, somethings don't make sense to me like1. Samsik in general,…
In terms of the kid situation, I know my cousin who is roughly 6/7 years old and she speaks very maturely with lots of experience similar to the twins here. I’d more so say that it’s very uncommon

While all say the kid dialogue is not real... i know a 6 old kid that actually thinks snd talk like that🤔
that is true. I have a cousin who is around 6-8 years old and she speaks as if she has so much experience and knowledge and most of all she uses big big words too. so it’s not that what the twins saying is unrealistic as most ppl claim. it’s just uncommon

but she apologized and admitted to her mistakes and wrong methods! it was a moment of anger that she did that
yep. I guess her apologising shows that she CAN be a good mother and can be repentful.

that’s completely true. it’s the outside influence that can develop your behaviour and personality. it’s…
that is true. my parents are from a different and most of all from a different country so they still refuse to blend in with the culture and traditions here which can make it hard for me. I’m trying my best to understand them but that could be because I’m still young, 22 and I’ve got many more years to develop, mature and perhaps understand the reasoning behind their actions. but for now, the emotional support truly comes form frnds not as much from family.

i now understand why kangho didn’t go astray and turned into psychopath.. its mijo that sustains his humane…
that’s completely true. it’s the outside influence that can develop your behaviour and personality. it’s quite relatable. My own mum is also abusive but my friends are the ones who have been keeping me going and till this day I’m incredibly greatful to them. At least I know that even if my whole family think I’m an idiot, my friends at least don’t. they seem more like family to me than my own 🥲🥲

What she did was awful. Her redumption era isn't changing the fact that she was hella abusive. Like I'm sorry…
Yep... I also come from an Asian background too. It's sad rlly.

I think it’s telling that even before her husband died she still had a bit of this mindset of living through…
I srsly don’t understand the issue with society sometimes. like if u couldn’t become a doctor, artist, lawyer, why do u need your children to do the same? it makes me so mad. Like if your child has a passion for science, let him become a scientist, drive them to do well in what they like doing, don’t suddenly tell them to become a “lawyer”.

the caring stuff as in putting the medicine on the wounds or keeping the drawings in the box, not the shoving him in the water :(:(. For instance when she put the drawing together, she could've expressed her intention there verbally as well as non-verbal.

doing those things does show she’s caring but thing is u need to show things verbally rather than non verbally. if u don’t express your affection, how is your child supposed to know they r special?

I wish he wasn't mentally 7 when they decided to developped his relationship with Mi Joo cause it's honestly so…
yep but I think his memories r really starting to come back so hopefully won’t be too weird for the episodes to come ☺️

But mainly for parents I guess.Just don't be like herJust because you are Asian
Yes, this drama teaches you what not to do as a parent. I have a rather toxic relationship with my mother and I'm using this drama to live through that experience again and take some tips on what not to do in the future.

I know this is a bit extreme but the mom is the main villain in this drama. Those who defend the mom in fact themselves…
I completely agree with this. my mum in a sense is similar to Young Soon’s except that she isn’t a single mother and raising both me and my brother with my disabled father. I wouldn’t say she’s a villain exactly as everyone is human. but there’s a limit to how much trauma you can put your children through. I was physically and mentally affected by mine so much that now when I do things I always do it behind her back. Such as a simple phone call to a friend or pursuing my interest in learning multiple languages which again my mum hates.

that’s for some moms. I’m also Asian too but the things my mum has done it has affected me mentally, physically…
thanks. it’s highly appreciated. I’m not putting hate on other mothers by my comment. It’s just that it’s not been easy for everyone and parenting is a big factor. I just hope this generation and future generations are more kinder with their children.

I'm seeing a lot of ppl mad at the mom. Idk if it's because I'm asian and it's a cultural difference... the things…
that’s for some moms. I’m also Asian too but the things my mum has done it has affected me mentally, physically to the point that it’s affected my relationship with others. So yeh actions like Young Soon’s can leave long-term consequences and affect your independence and how you deal with things in the future.

I can't relate with the mother at all, i found her character so annoying during the entire show. She destroyed…
yep I agree but mothers like her r very realistic too. like it’s true she went through so much from when she was a kid and after losing her husband, but after trying once, she could’ve stopped there. she saw how much her son has done for him and she should’ve let him do what he wants to do now. He sacrificed a lot 🥲. I can relate to Kang Ho as I also tried doing something for my mum but it didn’t end well.

but he didn't get back his memories even in ep11!! 🫤
Either he’s remembered parts of his memory and is only pretending to act like a 7 year old in some bits (his body language and tone of voice give bits away) or he’ll probs remember fully near ep 12/13.
