Finally watched this. The pastor guy is really funny.

My friend who grew up constantly hearing about schoolmates and cousins of friends dying from gang-related activities, told me this movie is too idealistic and doesn't reflect the true horrors and brutalities of chinese gangs.

So to summarize it up...

Yang Zi: Domineering, narcissistic, selfish. Puts friends/career first and family last.

Mai Lin: Domineering, insecure, sensitive, drama queen, extremely stingy, high-demand (emotionally). Puts husband first and herself last.

Tin is a prime example of the overly forgiving archetype. I hate characters like that.

I was scrolling through the cast list like crazy on wikipedia. Then I realized Mai and Yang Zi are actually from season 4.

According to Berg Ng's replies to comments on Douyin, he's actually born in 1961. Websites saying that he's born in 1960 are incorrect.
