This series shows stories of lonely people in the age of social media. Everyone stays by themselves on the same floor, from room 401 to 410. Although their lifestyles may be different, the owner of each room has to confront with the same problem, and that is loneliness. Social media seems to be the only choice for them to have someone for talking, liking, and following. However, in reality, that loneliness cannot be deleted. Add Synopsis In Spanish

So... Room Alone ist about people (students) who are somehow lonely. It tackles exactly 10 stories of 10 habitants of a condo.

I kind of liked it? It wasn't extremely special in some kind but it is a really good lakorn in it's genre. These days the theme internet gets more and more attention in movies, series and books. And this lakorn was about it. Facebook, Instagram, Line and Tinder (!) were the means to get to know each other to communicate with each other. You could see yourself in the characters.

They were ordinary stories every could relate to one of them or more and the actors did a good job, as everything seemed really natural, they were just some students who felt lonely in this society.

The music was good for those pats that I listened to them, it didn't disturb the flow or was annoying (like in some tw & k-dramas).

You should watch it if you want more GMM, youth dramas, light fluffy dramas :D

So not really your story following friends. Not even the traditional story of lovey dovey couples and happy, or even dramatic, endings. No.

What this series was was a non-traditional (for dramas of this class) look at life as affected by social media. SM played a crucial role in each and every life in this series, as it does today. How many of us are not affected by Twitter, InstaGram, Facebook, Line, YouTube and Tinder? How many of us do not live on these media and don't even know our next door neighbour?

A little dramatic at times, the characters are totally relatable in our modern context. The fact that they are University students and a little more mature than the other dramas being based in High School was quite a plus.

Again, I must hand it to the Thai's: they have product placement down. This time the adverts, ahm I mean product placements, were not quite as annoyingly placed as other drams which shall go unmentioned, but they are still quite noticeable. Good job though!

All in all a good drama to keep you busy in the downtime between Tweets, IMs, Lines and such. Well worth the watch!
