I loved this drama and have seen it more than once. I have to say the scene when the FL the end finds out that XuKai died gets me every time the tissues come out LOL

I absolutely love this drama so much so I have seen 3 times since its release. It’s funny , it’s serious and it has romance it has it all. The chemistry between the actors is great. Yes it a republican era drama give it a chance you will love it as it develops from episode to episode. 10 out of 10 for me

@whoissilmoy. Great post I agree 100% with your comments above. I also grew up watching American or westernized shows and I am not Asian however XuKai was my first and still favorite Chinese actor that one of my friends quite a few years ago now said expand you
Mind watch Yanxi Palace Arsenal Military Academy and now I have seen all of his dramas. He really made me appreciate and made want to learn more about Chinese culture I have expanded my horizon over time watching a lot of Chinese and now some Korean dramas but I feel as though he the type of actor that could work in films outside of China. He has a very charismatic presence about him and is still my favorite by far.

I don’t think I am going to enjoy watching him hate her. His family is so screwed up and the mother what a piece of work Here comes the break up

Anyone who looks at this drama and looks at the ratings on this site. Don’t bother. This is one of the best suspense crime dramas of the year and XuKai’s performance is really outstanding I have watched this a second time this week and I think I enjoyed it even better the second time around 10 stars from me

Why on earth is this dramas rating 7.3 absolutely ridiculous. IMO this is at least a 9.5. It has some of the best acting so far this year.

Eight hundred has to be one of XuKai’s best acting performances in a long time. It is the best suspense drama I have seen in a long long time. Can’t wait for spring of blade now as well
