why are tumblr people gaslighting me into thinking that great and tyme actually died?? And why is it starting to make sense?? I don't like it there :( Jokes aside i enjoy how people view think so differently, this is how you know that this was a good show.
I'm a little late to the party because life got in the way but here i am crying cuz this episode broke me from beginning to end. First, we are shown tyme's 4 minutes and omg his reality got me on my knees screaming: HE WANTED THAT PLACE AS A PROFESSOR, HE WANTED TO BE PERCEIVED AS A GOOD AND GENTLE PERSON BECAUSE HE ACTUALLY IS, HE WANTED TO MEET GREAT WITHOUT THE BURDEN OF REVENGE, HE WANTED HIM TO MEET HIS GRANDMA, HE WANTED TO BUILD A LIFE WITH HIM, A FAMILY WITH HIS GRANDMA, HE WANTED TO PICK UP THE GUITAR AGAIN, HE WANTED TO DO SO MANY THINGS WITH HIM, HE WANTED TO LIVE they did us so dirty because we thought that we could only have that in those 4 minutes. His reality was even more delusional and sweet than great's. And don't let me get started on the scene where we see the two of them naked in the bed so comfy so intimate, tyme as the bigger spoon embracing great i fear is an image that is forever embedded in my brain. Seeing them being so relaxed for the first time without their "demons" getting in the way was bittersweet because we knew that it was not real. I also love that Den was the loved one who brought him back, his bestie, his other half, his brother from a different mother, love their relationship so much. And korn, my korn, my baby what a sad life that matched that sad ending. He was betrayed by his "partner" (fasai you a b*tch but i kinda love you for that) a partner that just discarded him like some useless trash, a partner he thought held at least some kind of respect for him after all these years and this brings me to my next point: korn is just as "naive" and love-started as great, he trusts people easily especially those around him, and that's what makes him so bad at his job, he's too softhearted for this reality, he cares too much about his father, his bother, his lover (fight me idc korn LOVES tonkla and if you think otherwise after this episode that's a you problem), he wants to do things right even in the wrong and that's why things never go his way. Korntonkla ending made me cry a river, their love was tragic, doomed by the beginning but i still held a bit of hope for them, hoping for the writers to be kinder than destiny was, together or not they deserved better and not to be five feet under. It's still kind of "poetic" how they died but yeah still think they deserved better in life. Btw i think that i lot of people still misunderstand Tonkla as a character, If it wasn't clear enough by episode 7 tonkla is dealing with some sort mental illness such as did i mean the cat's death was what triggered it and since then the cat and collar have been a metaphor for the switch. Win you're a b*tch and not in a nice way, that's all. He's probably one of the few police officers in the whole country that take their job seriously i'll give him that but he's still a b*tch and we all know that wouldn't be for his jealousy things would have been different. Now, i thought that a happy ending for tyme and great would have ruined everything BUT i'm here to take my words back because unexpectedly i was overall satisfied with the ending, i mean i already got my dose of tragedy just all right with korntonkla i wouldn't have survived if even great tyme didn't have some sort of happy ending after what they've been through. So yes, i'm glad they got a second chance at life. Lastly, Den aka the real mvp of this series, the guy that saved the day and in return got a hot and cheerful girlfriend to match him (Is it okay to date your ex-patient? Probably not but idc they're cute and i've been their #1 shipper since the beginning). Anyway, THIS is how you do a final episode, THIS is how you do a series, everyone who participated in this project did an amazing job from the actors to the bts people whose work is often overlooked, bravo!! Btw y'all can have whatever opinions you want, trash this drama from front to back i couldn't care less but this is MY drama of the year like the way it had me thinking, engaging, and entertained throughout the months no series has done it yet. It's a series that needs people to focus on every detail and that's why i believe is so misunderstood, because a lot of people don't really pay attention to what they're watching and it's sad cuz obviously a lot of thoughts have been put behind this product, there were a lot of elements that they wanted us to pick up without them being spelled out for us which need a high attention threshold something that not everyone has, unfortunately.
Putting my 4minutes defender hat to say that i like the fact that this series is only 8 episodes which focused manly on the overall story/characters rather than the development of the ships. Every character has its own charms and that is why i'm going to miss every single one of them (yes even Title that jerk) and not just greattyme or korntonklawin. I prefer shorter series where each episode is as engaging and interesting as the one before rather than a series that has filler episodes here and there to milk it out. Obviously i completely understand why this is a very unpopular opinion and why majority of people think otherwise and i respect that but to me this series was never boring and kept me entertained, borderline obsessed, through out it and that's what i expect from a series. The only thing that would ruin it all for me is a happily ever after ending for everyone but knowing sammon i'm sure they have a big surprise in store for us (kinda hoping they pull a dff ending on us which ppl hated but i LOVED it lol).
Dudee they are still trying to come for them just because they drink a little before nc scenes, like I was literally…
They become the moral police every time bible and his co stars are involved but then stan a man who is a whole homophobe, racist, misogynist, and rape apologist. Make it make sense
People, I need help.About episode 4, Why did Great immediately start working against his brother for someone he…
I don't know if you are up to date with the episodes, if so pls continue to read if not and you don't want to be spoiled then don't!
Well, we have to keep in mind that all events we were shown till episode 5 are what great wished it happened, he regretted not immediately believing tyme, not being more helpful in saving nan, and so on hence why we see him being so willingly to help tyme because, a choice that without prior knowledge we have perceived as pure nonsense. The fact that he has a deep grudge against his father and family (and the business) has probably influenced him to make that decision without much thoughts. Also, i don't know if i remember correctly but in an interview bible said that it's not that he loves tyme more than his brother, it's just that due to the circumstances (ironically) his morals pushed him to pursue what was right.
Episode 6 actually got me even more confused. It feels like i am writting a very difficult math exam.
Got you confused as in for what's about to come (because same, we still have some unanswered questions) or about the general story? Because if it's the latter i mean the show already explain it what's happening so maybe you should just rewatch it and pay particular attention to lukwa and den's characters :)
Tbh i don't get what's so hard to understand about this series even more now that episode 6 has come out explaining the true sequence of events. I mean, sure, it can get a bit confusing at times (if it wasn't it wouldn't be this interesting) especially during the first episodes but at this point we should all have grasped the thing that has been repeated since the pilot hence that great is having a near-death experience so it wasn't real time travel, and no he doesn't have real super powers. This is not referred to anyone in particular btw, but i just think that if you still don't understand the plot having we arrived at ep 6 maybe this series isn't for you because from now on it will only get more complicated and hard (imo).
This is exactly what i think, i really love that they put so much details into the characterization, it makes…
Exactly, i thought it was obvious that it was done on purpose but i guess not, i mean all their interactions since the very beginning were very much "awkward" it would only made sense that they translated it into the nc scene.
That korn-fasai scene, particularly when korn walks away from her and he tries to suppress the pain he feels is forever embedded in my brain. Bas is such a a good actor and korn is one hell of a character, i'm so glad 4 minutes gave me the chance to see all of this.
People wouldn't have complained if the makers hadn't included so many nc scenes that don't add up to the plot…
Tbf all the nc scenes we had seen so far have been very different one from another and that's because they had different core emotions and stories to show us, them being this explicit is also crucial imo, just implying them wouldn't have had the same effect in communication and impact they otherwise had. Having said this, i agree with what you just said let's hope for a better development of ALL the characters and balance in these newer episodes :)
Jokes aside i enjoy how people view think so differently, this is how you know that this was a good show.
