I think the slap in Ep 12 was there to really emphasise the evil character of JH's dad. It makes us make sense of why JH's mother wants divorce from her husband so bad. It makes us want to see JH taking the revenge from him. The slap makes he revenge trope more satisfying and engaging for us as an audience. Even though I feel they could have been more creative and avoided the assault scene.

I am super annoyed with Darim's decision to break up as per the preview. When their relationship started, she promised Ji Hyeok to be forever there for him and fight together in all of the future difficulties. She already had some idea of the challenges looming on him as ML's mother had told some of the things about Ji Hyeok's past to her. But now, when the challenge has arrived, she chooses to break up, duh!!
I mean all he is asking from her is for her to trust him and give some time to resolve things.
Yes, the slap was too much, but it was actually metaphorically a slap on Ji Hyeok, but physically Darim got slapped cause ML's sister chose to target ML's weakness.
With Darim attempting to be emotionally strong since Ep 1, this was the time when she could have seen the slap as not an isolated personal attack but an attack on Ji Hyeok. It was her moment to show real strength and stick with him.
I so loved this couple when they came together after all the pain, but if they can't stand the test and fight together, it's so pathetic. Their relationship should have been stronger to handle the tough times.
Sadly, they failed as a couple for me.

Yeah, after all the promises of being together forever, fighting together. How can she not trust him for once and give him some time to resolve things, which is all he was asking of her, as per the preview. The breakup twist is making me feel disappointed in the couple, it was their test to show the strength of their relationship, but breakup means they failed at this test.

After Ep 10 I feel SeonU role was to build up jealousy and to eventually play a role in the faster union of the leads after the fake marriage truth revelation. But for sure don't want much of SeonU now in the next 4 episodes.

So true FL met ML for the first time when she was depressed, crying and drunk. She saw him at the edge of cliff and thought he is going for a suicide. That was her state of mind for past few years. Repeated failures and being rebuked by her teacher, her ex, even her own sister, all while hiding her sadness from them and crawling into the corner of her bed and crying, that was her life. She since many years needed a job, but this time she desperately needed it and needs to keep the job as well. With all this she has added stress of the lie being exposed will make her jobless again, with all this how can she expect that ML is in love with her, she has seen his care and his attraction to her but she has no idea how deep his feelings for her are and he hasn't gotten a chance to express himself fully as he thinks she is married. They are both doing best according to their circumstances, but the wall of lie was until now stopping both of their true feelings from being revealed to each other. The wall fell down in Ep 8 so now they might properly open up to each other.

I have watched the next week's preview almost 6 times now. Like I would love to watch a "mirror punching" love story!! So much longing, he is gonna eat her up once he discovers the lie, OMGGG, can't wait!!

JH also wants to protect his mother and get her a divorce, which might complicate things if later on he decides to marry Da Rim. Also, with Da Rim lying to get a job, it would take a lot for even JH mother to accept DR as her son's wife.

That would be wild!! JH would beat the crap out of the ex BF again 😅 anyhow, hope the fake marriage ends by Ep 8 max

So, as per the preview of Ep 7 I think there is definitely going to be a kiss. Now, as the sister is already spying to get solid proof of an affair, maybe those kissing pics will then get released. Then eventually Da Rim would have to come clean by at least Ep 8. I am assuming this is only 14 episodes, and probably they are going to show them getting married and maybe even having a kid by the end. But for that, this fake marriage has to end by about halfway i.e around Ep 8.

Also, I saw this reddit post (link below) where they say there are more than 10 kisses, which means that this fake marriage cannot last too long then.

I am so eagerly waiting for their next kiss, but the comedy is keeping me going, loving the fast pace, it hasn't got boring yet!!
