My expectations were on the floor, so initially this exceeded them. As others have said, the editing is terrible. I'd imagine their initial plans had better flow, and they got hit with a lot of censorship changes. Other than the editing and the predictability, it was good. I really didn't like the last 4 episodes, though; it went downhill fast for me.

It's a shame about the editing because some of the characters are well developed, or at least it seems like they would be if we had the missing scenes. The antagonists are layered humans rather than cartoon villains.

From the synopsis and the clips I've seen, it seems like they secretly date for a while, break up, then get back together after a time jump. So the drama is in two acts. Are they still in the first act after 15 episodes?

It would say they are pushing it here. Often I see actors in their 20s playing 17/18y.o and I do just have to roll with it, but 32 playing 15 is too far. There are also a lot of Chinese actors who look crazy young which helps make it more believable, but this isn't the case here. But yeah I don't want to watch a child as a lead in a romance drama, that's gross

IMO, the rating is a little harsh; it's more like low 8s. There are issues, but there are enjoyable elements. The FL's character is sympathetic and likeable. The casting is weird, though; here they are supposed to be 14/15, right? None of them pulls that off. Hu Yi Tian definitely looks the oldest and most out of place. I fear that his playing so much younger is making his acting even stiffer. It's just blank. Even Tian Xi Wei doesn't look like a teen, but her acting is much better and more expressive.

I'm on episode 14 and struggling to like the ML. He literally clogged the toilet and left it and she had to unblock it for him?!?! Did I read those subtitles correctly? I like the actor, but the character seems kind of gross and lazy. The FL is definitely flawed too- too much of a pushover, but I'm hoping we see lots of character growth.

I'm on episode 23, feel like I'm going to be stressed all week! I don't like the look of the ML's ex!

Is it just me, or does the dubbing look a little dated on this? I feel like dubbing in Cdramas has come such a long way that I don't notice it anymore. I've only seen clips, and some of the voicework is out of sync. Is that an anomaly when actually watching?

so is this a rebirth story, or just the original book is a rebirth?

I really want to watch it, but I'm too fragile for a S.E and I have trust issues with K-dramas haha

Wait, I'm confused. I'm only on episode 9, but they went to school together, were friends/interacted, but they are both pretending they don't know each other? They knew each other so little that it's believable they forgot each other's existence, but they are still obsessed with each other after 10 years. Do I need a new brain, or do they need therapy?
