To those who are actually hesitating to watch this movie: The CGI (imo) is actually bearable for a Chinese production. I've seen a lot worse. The thrill is really good. It's the kind of thrill where you think, "Oh, thank the heavens they're fine." But no, there's another freaking obstacle. Character development is weak tho because I think they were really focusing on the execution of the storyline. (I mean how do you expect 9(?) novels to be squeezed into the movie?) For the storyline, it's confusing at first. However, it all made sense at the ending if you connect it with all the flashbacks and the introduction. The moment you understand it, it's gonna flip you over. Also recommended to people who loves shipping otps.
