Loved this show!
Everyone got the ending they deserved. I really enjoyed this series. It was fresh, funny, and kept me guessing. I wish we got more of Nawin because he was my favorite character despite only being in two episodes. He was hilarious and the only time an ex making a comeback was ACTUALLY entertaining. 😂I loved the couples and I fell so hard for the side couple. 🥺 Thee is the most amazing person.
I also appreciate any BL that ends in a wedding! They really emphasized the importance of equal rights and the fight they continue to fight in Thailand. 💜

This show is so perfect!
While I'm on the side of this not being a BL (because no romance happened, no one specified their sexuality in the first place) I think this was such a beautiful, heartbreaking, & heartwarming show with bits of humor throughout. The MC did love the angel, but it never came across more than platonic. It was almost like a protector or brotherly love, especially considering the MC is in his 30s and the angel was a school boy. But I digress. This show was the easiest 10 I've ever given.Learning the angel's story, him finally being loved by someone, and our MC learning to overcome hardship and love himself. 10000/10.

This has to be my favorite BL!
Its such a close, almost tie between My Beautiful Man & Minato's Laundromat because they're so close to my heart, but I think this one takes the #1 spot.I binge watched this show. Then S2 came out and I binge watched S1 & S2. Now the movie is out and I'm binge watching all 3. This is such a comfort show for me. I have no idea what they laced this show with, but it's AMAZING!
They pack so much into 20 minutes I'm convinced the time stamp is lying to me. I've never experienced such a successful story telling. Bravo to everyone involved in this show. It's truly one of a kind!

Only Emotional Damage
Every Saturday I was parked with my phone ready to inhale this show, episode by episode. Each week I laughed, smiled, and definitely screamed into my pillow. But the last 2 episodes did me in and stripped this show from a 10 to a 9. Which isn't a big drop, but despite how upset episode 12, ESPECIALLY, made me, I can't rate it any lower. I might hate the ending, but overall I still loved this show. Each week it provided me so much anticipation and excitement.
I loved this messy show and all of it's messy characters... except you Boeing. Never you Boeing. Boeing was the downfall of the show for me. His entrance felt like unnecessary drama for couples who had already been THROUGH it and come out of the other side. By the time he came in and stirred up all the same drama we just recovered from it was like beating a dead horse.
Me thinking this series would end any different than it started: 🤡
In my delulu episode 12 would've looked like:
-Everyone gets their shit together
-Everyone makes up and is friends again
-Every couple is together and gets a HEA
I don't care how unrealistic that is! It's just what I wanted! Argue with the wall! 😂😂😂
The actors were INCREDIBLE. I couldn't have imagined a better cast. Khao did amazing on the OST also.
Here on MDL, I thoroughly enjoyed commenting each week with the viewers. This was such a fun little community to be apart of these last couple of months. Whether we shared the same opinions or not it was always a blast for me. The comments especially helped me process my experience with this last episode. 😂
I'm officially closing this book and going to touch some grass because my chest still hurts several hours later. 😂

So good!!!
I just finished binging this for the second time. I forgot how much of a masterpiece this show is!!What an epic journey we get to go on.
The ost is repetitive, but I think it is good. Creative that they came up with different versions of the main song to fit different moods. & ofc Jeff Satur is a God among peasants with the voice of an angel.
I'm in awe of the cast's acting skills. They sold every aspect and every emotion of their characters. I love all 3 brothers plus their cousin, Vegas. I came for Kinn and Porsche, but in the end I loved every couple (perhaps Vegas and Pete are my favorite though ðŸ˜).
Tankhun is the funniest character in this whole show. I adore him. Thanayut did a phenomenal job in this role.
I wish Porchay was aged up to 18 and portrayed by an older actor so we could've gotten more romance from Kim & Porchay, but Jeff still sold us on the love and protectiveness Kim has for Porchay without any physical intimacy happening.
Despite the couple of bad eggs that are now a stain on this masterpiece off screen, I'm grateful for this shows existence and I am sure I will watch it again and again!

A masterpiece!
Holy guacamole! This series was an absolute masterpiece! I cried so much, but there was laughter throughout as well. This was so beautifully woven and twisty-turny. I want a season 2 so badly!
Nothing broke me more than Caoguang breaking down over Yi. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This would be a 10/10, but unfortunately, 10/12 episodes I hated Chuying. She was so high and mighty, self-centered, selfish, and annoying. It took until episode 11 for Caoguang to humble her before she pulled her head out of her rear. She took all of the credit and didn't treat them as her equals even though none of her success would have come without Yi. Literally. I'm glad she eventually realized that because then the dynamic felt balanced and she wasn't so unbearable.
I feel they left this open for a season 2 and I really hope so! This was so beautiful, funny, and every emotion there is. Bravo everyone!

Wow!!!
This show really smacked me in the face, I was not expecting this level of drama or this level of greatness!I thought I had this show all figured out, but those plot twists actually got me. I love KhaoFirst. I actually came here to cleanse myself from their ANGST over in Only Friends. I'm glad I didn't know about this show until now because I needed it! 😂 It made me laugh, cry, smile, and.... RAGE.
Let's go!
Me vs Thua
This guy deserved Boston, not Khan.
I'm not proud of anything Thua did. He can kick rocks tbh. If he knew all of that he should've taken the time to understand and talk to Akk directly. It's hard for me to care about Thua's outburst and plotting when the audience has seen Akk's realization and struggles. I don't support him being made a villain. Yes what he did was so wrong, but they're literally supposed to be high schoolers. It's even easier at that age to be groomed and manipulated. He was basically brainwashed with cult mentality. - However Akk should have listened when he was advised by Aye to tell the truth before it was told for him. I wish he had. But Thua still sucks for what he did. He used everyone, lied, outed his "friends", and he was not even sorry.
Aye took time to confront Akk and ALSO understand. I dont think he intended to help Akk cover it up. He continued to encourage him to tell the truth. The only time he wasn't pushing it was when Akk's mental health was at risk once he realized what he'd done. Are we forgetting unaliving ourselves is a major plot point?! May Thua be perpetually single, step on a lego every day, and eat bricks for all of his meals. Yelling at this fictional character has been therapeutic. 😂
The only things keeping this from a 10/10 are:
-Thua's step dad is not fully explained or resolved. They made it seem like he was being abused and then all of a sudden it was okay?
-Why did the teacher have that picture of D and the other professor just tucked in a book? Everyone's outing everyone here too lol.
-Thua gets barely any backlash for what he did. He keeps his boo and his friends.
-Why did the main teacher puppeteering never really apologize? or stand up sooner? His toxic behavior towards Akk is swept away by him dating Aye's late uncle. Nothing changed other than people finding out.

The best K-BL I've seen!
Ugh! I loved this so freaking much!!!!This show had so much depth, I was hooked from start to finish. The Eighth Sense was just so beautiful and well done. I felt every emotion possible and melted into a puddle of feelings.
Normally I am petty until I die, but it was so sweet to see everyone make amends in the last episode. Truthfully some didn't deserve redemption, but our MCs have such kind souls.
I highly recommend this series. It takes you many places and explores so much more than I expected. The actors were amazing, their chemistry was palpable and they didn't give us dead fish kisses! They gave us heat! I do wish we got to see more healing, but I loved it so much as it is.

I loved it!
This was a very fun and entertaining journey.First of all Up (Put) is so gorgeous I would not have been mad if they ended up together. Obviously they don't because duh, but I didn't mind that pit stop in the show.
The music and double/triple takes on a scene wasn't my favorite. I'm learning many actors are not good with crying scenes. Maybe try eye drops or gosh even mist them with water idk lmao.
I feel some parts of the plot still need closure in the end (I'm looking at you Jen and Jaab), but also what happens with the company and the dad? What about the best friend that just slowly disappears. For a 2 hour finale I feel like all the loose ends should've been tied up.
but alas, I did love this show. Pat's story was an enjoyable experience, there was great character development. Definitely worth the watch!
