Well, slightly disappointing, but I still love this series.

I did not only expire that this episode would rather focus on Yunzhen's past. The main pair barely got the screen time and annoyed me. The past should have been incorporated into the drama, in the special episode we can see the relationship between Shi Lei and Yunzhen, how they live happily. Received at least a few minutes at the end of the episode.
So for me it was a little bit bit and wonder how and why they loved each other. The special episode is unnecessarily wasted in the past.
However, I still love this drama and I still love Yunzhen Shi Lei pairs.
This can argue from the chemical level, which pair is better ... Yunzhen Zitong or Yunzhen Shi Lei ...
I'm still worshiping Yunzhen Shi Lei pairs.

"I'm looking for my little bee"
Chi Zhen's last words...it's touching that he realized he loves the girl...and finally found a true partner and friend in Lu Li...the same goes the other way around...Lu Li is much more expressive as the series progresses and she is also a true partner found in the person of Zhi Chen.
Both characters are traumatized, Zhi Chen because of his lost sister and his mother's distance, and Lu Li because of his father's guilt and the "loss" of his wife, daughter...
In the beginning, they are against each other, but then they become true friends as they solve more and more cases together.
Not even the main villain acting in the background could destroy their friendship, whose identity and actions we learn about during and at the end of the series.
I liked Chi Zhen's humanity and sense of justice, something amazing... Lu Li's sometimes impulsive behavior is also very good acting.
Honestly...it was a very good series: violence, rape, murder after murder...not to mention the unscrupulous procedure...I liked the investigation of the cases.
Incredible acting and I honestly loved the relationship between the two main characters. Although they are at odds in the beginning, a kind fate brings them fatally together as companions.
Here the supporting characters also performed quite well, I noticed them here. Everyone had a personality and a task.
The story revealed people's most secret desires in a rather cruel way: money, power, greed, cruelty, trauma, revenge as a motive... here I even felt sorry for the killer, who had motives, so to speak, why they did what they did. ..
Brilliant shots and introduction... flashbacks to the past that answer some questions about the characters' behavior and their current situation....
However, this show is not perfect either... there are plot holes that need to be resolved...
The ending was a bit rushed, but I liked the hug between the two companions... but somehow it felt like this was the last meeting... a kind of farewell from Chi Zhen.
By the way, there is a lot of character development on both sides, I liked Zhen's outbursts, Lu Li's impulsive but vulnerable character
If there is no second season, I would definitely say that Chi Zhen is dead, but... you know... will that ever happen... it's been 5 years since then... I'll add that I just saw the series, and yes, I am waiting for answers to a few questions...
No matter how you look at it, Lu Li's wife is a murderer, regardless of what she did for...but I could understand a little...what she went through...but I wonder how they live after that...
Oh, and Lu Li's father? I have a feeling that he is innocent... I have a kind of dejavu feeling from another series: an innocent man is in prison...
What about Chi Zhen... is he alive and reunited with Lu Li?
I have many questions waiting to be answered in a possible second season...

Anyone can say anything: I think it's a light crime-bromance work..

Well....Desire Catcher...
I'm not saying it's a flawless work... regardless, it was enjoyable to watch, although I was annoyed at some points...
The strength of the series is the well-choreographed action scenes and beautiful atmospheric shots... and the OST, I've been listening to it often since then, I love it.
And the other plus: the acting!
The side characters are neutral for me, sometimes I didn't even notice them...
Here, I was convinced by the performance of the two main characters, especially Lu Fengping, who played by Zheng Yecheng. I fell in love with him!
Although in the eyes of many this relationship is not a bromance... it wouldn't hurt to see behind the lines and notice the looks and gestures... and especially to understand... because what they do for each other tells a lot...
Quite a lot of interactions reveal how much they complement each other... you just have to notice...
Although their relationship is uncertain and more tense until episode 18, after which it goes into a state of rest, it was still enjoyable to watch them because there were still strong scenes.
The main villain was played quite well by the actor, although his reasons were a bit weak and selfish in my opinion. The nurse was better...
Overall, the plot was not bad, I liked the solutions to the crime, although the police are almost always "slow" and idiotic, but acceptable... however, the ending was a bit rushed..
Of course, there were actions in it that did not add anything to the story, and were even unnecessary, like the death of Xiu Liu....
I didn't really like the ending either, because the whole series is unfair to Lu Fengping, but it made up for it that they reunited with Luo Fei and the team at the end... at least the series didn't give an open ending.
Overall, this light hearted bromance crime drama was a pleasure to watch, I will probably watch it again.
Feel free to try it without listening to the negative comments!

Charming and innocent at the same time

"Seven days are enough, to fall in love"
Is what this little simple, romantic BL movie is about.

I'm going to talk about both films simultaneously, because the whole story consists of two films that represtened the manga truthfully.

First film: Seven days: Monday to Thursday
Second film: Seven days: Friday to Sunday

If you are looking for a hot and sex filled drama, then these movies are not for you.
The slow, sometimes dull and tedious tempo between scenes can be boring for some people.

This story is strongly character-driven, it rather puts the emotinal side of the character in forefront instead of the physical interactions.
Even tho there werent a lot of speech and physical interactions between the characters, the actors could totally convey the emotions that the characters felt, both with their face and eyes, and their body language.

While Seryou (Hirose Tomoki) plays a fragile, moderate, emotional, quiet guy, who does not talk about his emotions, on the other hand Yuzuru (James Takeshi Yamada) portrays a very temperamental, hot-headed, plain-spoken, slow-witted guy. Thats what makes them compatible.
They are both disappointed in love, and they both long for a love they have never had the opportunity to do before.(Unconditional love)

Seryou Touji gives a week to everybody to date with him, but these usually end up the same: not working out due to them not being able to reach his heart in a way he wants them to (in the past he once failed in love, so he has a hard time trusting) Yuzuru is the only one, who didnt let him go after 1 week, but rather felt real emotions towards him, and wanted a serious relationship with him.
Shino Yuzuru's cheeky and hot-headed personality is a let down to all girls, and they usually break up, because nobody has appreciated his inner virtue. (only Seryou who loves his real personality.)

Yuzuru and Seryou relationship is kinda of an accident considering it started out with asking out for a date jokingly, even tho deep down it was love at the first sight, this is that slow process, in which they clarify their misunderstanding and their emotions.

Their lack of communication caused a lot of misunderstanding, this also made me feel uneasy and frustrated sometimes, tho in some ways its understandable why they never talked openly.
They were both fully convinced that their feelings for each other were not reciprocal, and this one-week date would be over in a week.
What they didnt expect is that the ongoing situation will actually reveal their true emotions.

The music fits the slow tempo movies almost too well. It was very reassuring and sensual at the same time. It suited the mood of both films.

I cant really choose a favorite scene because I liked all of them, the way they got closer (the first, second, third kiss, staring at eachother, inner monologues, face touching, smiling at eacother, jealousy). There was everything: desire, fear, anxiety but finding eachother (the long kiss scene radiates that aswell)

All in all - (of course not perfect) but an outstanding piece.

Totally recommend if you want to see a light, romantic BL film without the cheesy overdramatic things.

Two person, one destiny, one goal, a spectacular bromance, kerfuffle of emotions and events

* So, KeixYaku, a cop and the maffia boss, their fate intertwine lovely bromance that unfolds between them

- Not gonna explain the whole story, so im just gonna recap and add the positives and negatives throughout.
Even the seemingly perfect stories have downsides and this story is not an exception.

- Lot of people seen huge potential in the series and some of the people felt unsatisfied.
Either because of their relationship, the sometimes confusing script and the unfinished plot-holes.
The story itself is quite interesting and they could execute it well...at least they tried.
For this exact reason some of the eposides are full of action with less interaction between the two men and some of the episodes are slower with their relationship being the main thing.
Plus the ongoing battle between BL vs bromance.

- Your typical detective, action bromance drama that reminds me of Mad dog or Killer and Healer series
(i recommend these aswell if you havent seen them)

- Two completely different person on the same case about a bombing that connects them very much.
(one of them lost their parents due to the bombing, the other one has an innocent close friend sitting in jail and his sister also got in trouble cause of the bombing)

- The series started out strong but with time got slower and slower. Lot of people felt disappointed by how they executed the storyline. Lot of characters popping up out of nowhere gotta admin, even I lost the story sometimes.

- I must admit and agree that they couldve directed the whole thing better with more action because in the second half of the series the action scenes are dull and unreasoned.
(For example why is there a gun when you wont even use it and foes wont feel threatened by it)

- I was waiting for the big skirmish at end but they gave us some psycho drama stuff.

- The end of the series felt rushed. Maybe with less episodes and less flashbacks it couldve been more fast-paced, cause this left a lot of people bored. I myself couldnt care less about the dynamism of the series but rather some pointless scenes
that never added anything to the case.

- For example why did the sister jump infront of a bullet for the bad guy which meant nothing.

- In addition there was no battle at the end but some psycho drama stuff.

- The acting was phenomenal from Atsuhiro Inukai who played Shiro.
He was incredible, I fell in love with the character.
His acting partner was quite good aswell, altho sometimes I found him a little bitt stiff here and there.
But the chemistry between them made up for it.

- The music was ashtonishing aswell, perfect fit, despite the OST being deafening for me. Ryo Nobuguchi is composer's music was wonderful
The OCTPATH - IT'S A BOP music itself is not that bad even tho I dont think it fits the series.

- I loved watching their relationship as their emotions conveyed slowly.
They were worried for eachother, trusted eachother.
I think it was an unfolding love between them as it was hinted very strongly that It was more than friendship.
Not gonna lie I would watch it as BL (they kinda gave that vibe), but not gonna hold it against them that
they made a bromance out of this.
Loved wacthing the extras at the end, they were so cute together, almost like they were each others significant other.

- So all in all I liked the series even if it ended in a cliffhanger, even if it has mistakes.

- As far as I know the manga hasnt finished yet, and the series ended with a cliffhanger
theres a chance for a new season. One thing for sure, they stayed together, officially lived together based on the apartment lease. I really hope we get to see a sequel with the same actors cause none of the cases were closed
Neither the detective case, nor their relationship.

- So go ahead and watch this not perfect but loveble little series.
And decide FOR YOURSELF, whether you like it or not. Dont listen to the negative critics.

Egy próbát megér...

Overall, I liked the series, although some of the details and characters weren’t elaborate enough, the ending was confusing and kissing. I’d rather not go into detail about the CGI effects, I would just say that they did surprisingly poorly in some places, but there were scenes where it was done well.
Of course, there was a directorial and screenwriting flaw in this series, but a flawless piece never exists. The music ... both the opening and the closing were only divine, the opening music has been a big favorite ever since.
And there were the more meaningful, more dramatic scenes where music was also well chosen. There were weaker episodes, but there were some very emotional, dramatic and already a bit romantic episodes where you essentially showed who was most important to him. There was a sense of camaraderie and teamwork, but sometimes I also saw a pull apart.
I don’t deny I liked the chemistry and connection between the two protagonists (which of course makes everyone “faint.” All the actors did a good job compared to the character, there were only a few characters that became (for me) forgetful (Da Qing, Zhu Hong, the ghost couple, Jin Ling), because they were basically just there, but I didn't experience any character development and they added quite a bit to the story.
What really caught on in this series is the relationship between Guo and Chu. I found myself starting to love them and their relationship more than any other character. Somehow I noticed the contrast more than them and then the process as they fell in love with each other. Real bromance, even a secondary pair. I would have rather put an end to the way Little Guo gets hurt, because maybe he would have been much more "fit" systematically into the story, I think
So, all in all: the end could have been better worked out (like Guo how he became a leader, why he leads new people and not the old team, why Yunlan's father suggested that it might be, Guo saves the world .. I would have been happier if Yunlan and Guo had even talked to each other because Yunlan was dying, last wish, something like that, it could have been a more emotional end to Chu and Guo's completion, it could have been the hug, not in the dream., and..Lin Jing's character was redundant he thinks to bring it back..because he said goodbye..so it was stupid. And that torment on the part of Shen Wei and Yunlan ... argh..etc. So the end is very confusing for me ...
Well, this series isn't necessarily spectator for me again, because of the mistakes mentioned above ... and the excessive torment of the main couple in the end ... and that last scene ... absurd ...!
I prefer to look at the Guo and Chu scenes again because they showed a lot of character development and I was better able to identify with them, and as I may have written before, their relationship is much more realistic and elaborate than that of a “perfect, fateful main couple”.
Sorry for the long writing.Good health everyone.

I am grateful to the spell, as it brought us together.

I'm sorry, it may be a little long, but thanks for reading and writing to it. I apologize in advance for any misspellings.
Well, you guys! Our beloved series Cherry Magic has come to an end. Kurosawa and Adachi's story of happy ending - ended.. What can I say. As I see it, opinions are divided over the final episode. Some people are satisfied, and some people expected more than that.
My opinion, when I watched it all, I was a little disappointed, because a lot of people were waiting for the long-awaited kiss, weren't we? Furthermore, I thought the episode was a little premature, perhaps because of the limited playing time and too quickly they moved beyond the questions of 11.ep.. which still hurts. And what was the guarantee that they'd run into each other on top of the Anton building when they didn't talk after the breakup? ... It's a little confusing. Maybe I got a little disillusioned at first and disappointed... This episode was not thoroughly built.. I asked myself: Is that all?! Meg what it is that the side couple gives two weak visible kisses, our main couple gives a barely A kiss at the last minute.. And the elevator closes. And then I slept, and I thought...
I'm a little disappointed because I know adachi has a first in his life: relationship, love, kiss, sex. The question of the latter two things could have been addressed more carefully in how Adachi lives it, because it is a milestone in a person's life. Furthermore, kurosawa's (7!) year-old unbroken love is ripe.. It could have been a little more emotional after being together, the mood or they could have started "sex" the night before and had the kiss or the "engagement" the night before. How romantic it would have been. Anyway, i'm sorry.
But all in all, I'm not completely dissatisfied, since we got sweet moments during the series (forehead kisses, hugs, almost kissing, love look, smile, tears, happiness, confession, lap-carrying, caring, respect, hand-holding walking) and a lot of lessons and a sincere pure love, beautiful character development, especially from Adachi, who finally decides what's important to him. And, of course, a lot of nice happy scenes. It's a great friendship between Adachi and Tsuge to support each other back and forth. I appreciate that, as Tsuge put Adachi in his place. I loved this series also because there was no negative character (maybe only Keita, Minato's ex-lover). Everyone supported each other at some level.
We got finally a cute bed scene as well. (adachi, Kurosawa). And.. Adachi eventually lost his magic and virginity. And an "elevator" - KISS, which finally happens, but they don't let us look deeper, they left it to our imaginations. .. That it was arranged this way on purpose or the strict rules, agency, contract, respect, who knows. I don't think the reason really matters, because as I watched the Tsuge and Minato couple, they even though they give me two weak kisses, it's also essentially worthless, at least to me, because I haven't seen much progress in their relationship. They were cute, but that's all, but they got through it too fast. And they almost didn't attract my attention.. (but I liked Tsuge very much by himself, very fain and funny, I laughed about it a lot). So.. I figured it out. Any way you look at it. Even if episode 12 is a little hasty and incomplete and doesn't meet everyone's needs, I'm finally satisfied because this series warmed my heart, and the boys (Adachi-Eiji Akaso, Kurosawa - Keita Machida) really gave it their all, the chemistry was amazing. And as you can see, they loved working together. And I also realized that they didn't really need a "fulfilled" kiss and romantic "sex" and excessive intimacy (bed scene) because that's how it was nice how they closed it, as they finally kissed each other with the door closing, and they both proved to me that their love was huge and unforgettable! This series teaches you that you can't be in a shell for the rest of your life, especially when a person who loves you because you're you, and you do have to trust yourself, even if you don't succeed at first. I trust season two because there's not enough of them. I'd like to see more Kurodachi! Adachi and Kurosawa be happy!
I wish you all a happy holiday! Thank you if you've read it all along. I want your opinion.

Slow burns, but I still love this series!

Be Loved in House: I do

My opinion / thoughts on the series. Heads up, its gonna be a long one with SPOILERS, so if you havent seen the whole thing, DO NOT READ.

So the series is over, the main storyline that is. The special episode still remains and the opinions are divided. There are some that think it was a little rushed, there are some that think the structure of the storyline wasnt good enough. Ive read some negative comments on the Mydramalist page about the series, which said that the second couple got more spotlight sometimes more than the main couple. But ive read some other opinions which i agreed with that the second couple was completely pointless and their screentime shouldve been given to the main couple.
The second couple was just screen filler till the maincouple got together. I think this was a mistake, which the last episode made up for big time + we get a 13th episode in which Yunzhen, Shi Lei will be the protagonist, and Yi Zitong will be the supporting actor. You can read this on the Mydramalist page aswell. So Im hoping we get some nice moments and some answers that the 13th episode will give. Many of us love the series despite the mistakes and flaws. In honesty, every series has ups and downs but let me list some things I personally did not like about this series in particular:

-The series and the episodes were short. The episodes shouldve been ATLEAST 45 minutes long, even if the budget wasnt big, still. Couldve made it better. There were just not enough time for the love to unfold between Yunzhen and Shi Lei and why they fell in love.
-The lack of communication and Yunzhens inner struggle got pretty frustrating (10, 11 episode). I understand that he didnt want to get hurt again, but he truly loved Shi Lei.

-So I understand the tenseness during the final episode, cause Yunzhen realised that he could actually his love.
-I also undestand Shi Lei's concerns because he was unexperienced and never been in love, especially when the ex showed up and he couldnt really understand the situation.
But it still bugged me that they just cant express their feelings towards eachother, tho the gestures and expressions spoke without words.
All this aside, I loved their story and their chemistry and when their relationship "exploded" in the 12th episode that was amazing.

-The second couple didnt really add much to the story, other than one of them giving advices to Yunzhen. They were cute and all but as I said above, they were just filling out the screentime and they were nowhere as good as the main couple.

Things that I liked:
-The series was overall pretty good especially Yunzhen and Shi Lei (Aaron and Hank), you could tell that they longed for eachother before they actually started talking to eachother.

-For me the ending was satisfying and i knew it was going to be a happy ending which it was and im happy about that. I didnt really need for them to confess their love as I always took them as a couple. They cared for eachother, sleeped next to eachother, were jealous of eacother, worried about eachother.

This is definitely a series to rewatch. Im hoping for a second season OR that we can see the main couple in a different series cause they work together so well.

Thank you for taking time to read this long novel and if you would like to comment or add something, please feel free to do so! :)
I hope you are Being Loved in House aswell ;) and i wish you all the best!
Another thing i'd like to point out that is a big plus to me is Shi Lei's mother.
I really like the scene where Shi Lei opened up about his sexuality and she reacted so calmly, kindly and was supportive. That scene brought tears to my eyes.
