Yes, they made a novel after they decided to make a series based on P'Aof idea. P'Aof asked his friend P'Best the screenwriter to write the story and then they decided to make it into a novel, too. And they had released it last month I think, only Thai version. P'Aof said they will also release an English version asap.

SAB watch ep 1-13 (Masterpiece) then ep (28-36).Ending is not well written but okay bcs cy is gorgeous there 😀.
So, I continued watching yesterday. Already on ep 7 and I really enjoyed it so far. But, reading your comment, I'll try not to have high expectation esp for ep 14-27, and maybe just focus more on the visual because yes CY is gorgeous XD

I've been waiting for this one, it looks so good and I really love Cheng Yi!! I watched Journey of Legend, I tried so hard (kinda forced myself) to finish it. I'd already started Sword and Beloved but put it on hold because I needed to finish Blood River first, and so far.. Idk.. it's kinda boring.. but, I'll continue this week and hope it's to my liking... But again tonight I saw some negative comments about it so now I'm kinda scared lol
