this series over-explained everything except for what happened 20 years ago... unless im stupid or something. a business deal went wrong... with nawa's parents? so he sent his men to go murder them, having them think they were going to kill humans but "accidentally" killed nawa's merparents instead? is that what happened?? but ig that doesn't explain why silp's boyfriend got killed...... does he just generally want to spread fear of humans among merfolk? why...?
