Yeah, I also like that she is a grey character, with her own agenda. There wasn`t much about her description but it was said literal "she is sometime a friend and sometime an enemy" to Lee Yeon.
We`ll see what they prepared for So yeon`s character but I can deduce that Hong Joo is powerful but a very lonely woman. She doesn`t like to be bored.
I think she will be in the middle of the other two former mountain gods who are at odds (from some reason). The three of them were friends. I also like that the antagonist is a complex character. It is something tragic about friends becoming enemies. Let see how other characters connect with the story,

I watched Jang Hyuk and Jang na ra in onother shows but not in the same drama together. This time it will be the first time. I wonder what genre this drama will have. I want to read more infromation.

I am sure Lee Ji ah will take the role. From what I understand she will play two roles? She will play the first lady (the wife of the president? ) and a twin, a doppelganger? Probably another drama of Kim soon Ok to be a hit. I will read about the synopsis but am still not watching. LOL

I am excited to see So yeon on screen again but I don`t have great expectations for Gumiho 2. But let`s hope it will be a good drama.
So yeon is not playing the antagonist this time but she is not too good either. I like what I read about her character. It is what I wished for. She will be sometime an ally and sometime an enemy to the hero. The potential is there.

They made Logan Lee a suporting character after the change. The writer came up with another story in a short period of time. I wonder why they did not remain on the original story. Perhaps it was the same idea but reorganized the characters.

I think you are right. From that synopsis, Yoon hee would have played a more exciting role. I also belived the initial synopsis was about her.
They made many changes in the script and characters. When Ha Seok-Jin rejected the male lead offer the writer eliminated the role. Park Eun Seok was cast as Cheon Seo Jin`s husband at first (after Oh Man seok rejected the offer) but later they replaced him with Yoon Jong Hoon. They made another character for Park Eun seok (not lead character) and took something from the initial role of Ha Seok Jin.

You are right. Eugene`s husband is busy filming a drama at the moment. She must take care of their girls.

The detailed of the contract were available? I doubt it.
There was a lot of secrecy from the scripts and I don`t find it normal for the actors to not know the detail of their characters beforehand. Everything was like a soap opera who gave actors the script with a week or a few days before airing episode, In the kdrama, before the shooting. The writer did not only shocked the audience with the nonsense plot but the actors found out their character will act in a way that doesn`t make any sense. I doubt the writer had in mind from the beginning all the plot (the beginning, the middle and the end). Many times the writer came up with a plot that did not match what she said previously. That`s soap opera style. I can`t say with certainly because I gave up watching the show after episode 4 but I saw some of So yeon `s scene and I read about what is going on from the articles.
In one of So yeon`s interview, she said that she did not know how much her character will appear in the drama or how important it will be in the story. I guess, the villains were needed and because of public reception, the writer made the villains Joo Dan tae and Cheon seo Jin the front runners.

I admit that I dislike this kind of drama so I wouldn't have been sad if Seo jin had died instead of Yoon hee. I wanted So yeon out of the drama as soon as possible. LOL But I am happy for her that she had a success with this role. She appeared in a crazy makjang show now I want other experiences for her.

It is understandable for you to want to see Eugene on screen. Who knows, maybe she will be in another drama of Kim Soon Ok. The writer tends to cast the same actors in many of her works. Some of them take supporting roles so maybe it will be harder to see Eugene right away. When there will be a role for her, why not?

I forgot. Eugene was at the set of Penthouse when So Yeon and Choi Ye Bin had the last scene. So no hard feelings with the production team. She supported them.

I don`t think is something going on with Eugene. Her character was killed earlier on Penthouse but that`s because the writer wanted more drama/shock and to make Cheon Seo Jin the ultimate sinner. Or perhaps the witer did not have any new ideas. I read that Kim Soon Rok even apologize to Eugene in an interview to cut her character sooner than expected.
About the short movie/drama. There were so little time and so many characters already. I think they used the actors who were available in the end of `Penthouse`. It is possible that they offered a new role in one of the new dramas but she rejected as she wants to try new genre, or a different kind of dramas.
I am glad that So yeon is busy with other project. I am not a fan of fantasy dramas either but I don`t want her in a new crazy makjang project. But It will be nice if both So yeon and Eugene will make a cameo to meet the cast and crew with whom they have worked for so long. That I can watch.

Except So yeon and Eugene, all the main cast of drama `Penthouse` will be in writer Kim Soon Ok`s new two dramas. And Bong Tae Kyu but I am not sure he really won`t be in one of the works. LOL. I have a feeling that Lee Ji ah`s partner will be Shin Sun Rok who almost have done the role of Joo Dan Tae. I am not watching any drama of this crazy makjang writer but I am curious if he will be in the next work.

It will have romance because this is a romantic comedy.

I don`t know. Unfortunetly, I have not find out where to watch it either. But I saw So yeon`s scenes on Twitter and You tube so I am fine. Maybe you`ll find the scenes of your favorite actor/actress on other sites as well.

Hwang Hee`s agency announced today that he will come back to the series. Lee yeon and Goo Shin-Joo were friends in 1938?

If there is romance it won`t be like in the first season, it will be secondary to the plot. I am curious what kind of relationship will have Lee Rang and Eun Ho, the woman looking like his gumiho friend from season 1. I don`t even expect romance from them either but I am curious how they will interact.

I just hope there won`t be any link of unrequited crushes like in kdrama clichees: A likes B but B likes C and that likes D and so on. LOL It won`t be but we can`t be 100% sure.

I read the articles regarding this season and there isn`t anywhere `romance ` as the genre. Perhaps will have some "romance" but not from Lee Yeon (I am sure he is the character that everyone is worried about having a love story). And yes, Hong Joo (So Yeon`s character) had a crush on Lee Yeon from the moment she saw him (a long time ago, when they were mountain gods but she was rejected. They became friends along with Mu Yeong (Ryu Kyung Soo ). It would have been interesting to see all four mountain gods together this season but perhaps Moon Bear (Lee Kyung Hyung ) will appear in the third season if it will be made.

Back to season 2, when Lee Yeon will arrive in the past he will want to go back to his family. If he rejected Hong Joo as a romantic perspective long before he met Ji Ah, what are the chances to have a romance now when he has a family he wants to come back? There are no chance. I wish everyone will stop worrying about this issue. When Hong Joo will meet Lee Yeon in 1938 (the one from the future) she will be glad because she is the kind of person who needs excitment in her life. But it is understandable. She is a goddess who hates to be bored. She needs to spend time with people who are her equal.
They are friends or perhaps they have divergencies as well. So far we know that Mu Yeong will be hostile towards Lee yeon (we don`t know why) and I assume Hong Joo will be in the middle because she is friend with both.
From what I read, this season will focus on ghost hunting and Lee Yeon`s try to go back in his time and about Lee Rang with his own story and of course, with his realtionship with his brother.
I wish it will be a good story. I am watching this drama only because Kim So yeon but I want this drama to be good. Fingers crossed.
