I’m also happy to see sujin take initiative to grow closer to the other cast members after being so single minded in her own pursuit. she matured from it even if it’s towards the end of the run and she’s giving herself a meaningful conclusion from the show. eunchae has also been able to progress past just friendships with her roommates and give herself an opportunity. she still seems stiff in the interviews which is actually kinda cute lol she definitely can only open up to people gradually as she gets to know them. yongkyu was similarly able to grow comfortable among everyone even if they disregard interest in him as the oldest. heejin honestly had talked a lot about maturity or immaturity in regards to dating younger people, but she herself on the show has been immature in love at least. we should not be hearing all of that from her honestly. she dug herself into a hole the same way jinwoo did just because she was single minded in pursuit and it was not returned but a step further because she just disregarded her entire participation just only until eunchae changed her mind. she clearly has validation issues as well and has to stop thinking she’s better than others. I don’t care if the contestants are committing to immersing themselves to find a date to leave the show with.. it doesn’t make it that serious either it’s supposed to be casual bro like chill out relax for a sec.. sujin did the same but even she was more mature about it. but I think she and eunchae could match well. honestly I want her to clear the air with hyeyeon for the replay date. or actually even if they beef instead I just want to see them go on the replay date together that’s it lol.

I’m glad jinwoo has recognized his own poor dating habits where he gives more than he takes but he also acknowledges it’s a bit too late to take another direction at this point in the show as well. I was just happy to watch him build such supportive bonds among the most of the cast members despite them feeling like he was unapproachable as an interest due to the nature of his relationship with seungho. honestly don’t care if seungho was offended he was being talked about behind his back because he doesn’t even acknowledge it’s deserved. let alone communicate.. when was communication ever supposed to be easy.. eventually, you’ll need to make sacrifices too, you can’t just keep soul sucking validation and comfort from the people around you like this forever.. you’re an adult now lol wake up. just victimizes himself every time it’s irritating as hell. throwing a tantrum to sit alone on the bench just to guilt trip and ragebait jinwoo again without making a single effort to solve any of their issues man gtfoooooo like jinwoo asked him what’s wrong and gave him the attention he was seeking but he refused to say. jinwoo says what his issues were then suddenly he accuses jinwoo of talking about himself when seungho was more upset.. like you’re fuckingggggg jokinggggggg how on earth are you blaming him for wanting to communicate when you refused to like he literally asked about you first AND asked you in the first fucking place because he can’t read your fucking mind and genuinely wanted to know what he did to upset you. how are you shameless enough to say you were more upset and apparently deserved to express yourself first when you were the one being petty and straight up refused. I can see why seungho doesn’t favour her as well since there isn’t even much of a bond or chemistry between them. the surfing date didn’t progress their relationship, maybe because they’re young, but the majority of their conversations seem to have been built off the sbm texts.. he just feeds off the validation she’s willing to give him and is leading her on. though at least she’s experienced so she could tell he still isn’t particularly interested in her. she honestly needs to stop wasting her energy like that and look for a better give and take.. seungho is not an active participant for any relationship at this point in his life. I hope that whole triangle crumbles lol. that she picks seungho and he doesn’t pick her but picks jinwoo and jinwoo directly rejects him.

hyeyeon has always been weird af especially after heejin’s schtick but this latest episode she was being even more blatantly conceited when she said in her interview that she “wouldn’t say things to speak ill of jinwoo to compete fairly” then proceeded to do it anyway. before I think my bad impression of her came from her disrespecting sujin on their date honestly.. even though she was her second choice she gave minimal attention or effort and the worst was she brushes off her bad behaviour as “not wanting to lead anyone on” man come on be fr. she at least was nice to yongkyu on their date but that was probably only because she didn’t even take it seriously at first not knowing he liked her lol. also even if she likes seungho so damn bad then why is she celebrating his distress lmao it honestly gives a huge ick to see her keep going assa every interview without an ounce of shame. any interview with her in regards to other cast members showing interest in her she genuinely sounds so narcissistic too.. it’s not a language barrier I’ve been watching it fully understanding korean without translations. I can understand contestants on a dating show should be competitive, but I just don’t understand when she’s not even giving respect towards seungho either.. what a selfish person. it makes sense why despite her being outgoing, the gimmick of her charm has worn off for the majority of the cast and they’ve lost faith in her integrity after the ordeal with heejin. none of the girls nor chaebe have stuck close with her, it’s only been the 3 other boys who are still friendly towards her. someone on here calling her a pickme was spot on lol

tldr first thoughts on the show since it’s the penultimate episode now

this is what I came to the comments section for lol because why has nobody been saying this it’s blatantly clear the cast doesn’t empathise with him either.. as much as people just want to say as an audience it isn’t fair to judge what’s aired to us as outsiders, but if the rest of the cast were able to show a clear bond, he’s a total outsider from them and it just suggests there was definite reason for that. it sort of shows he feels alienated as well anyway, by the latest episode he’s almost become the butt of a joke especially to the other cast members and him trying to dispel being talked about being his back really awkwardly.. but the issue is he never reflects on himself and only sees those around him as the problem like brother.. to be an adult, nobody is gonna hold your hand to spell out that if you’re suspecting yourself as the victim so often, then maybe the problem is you. I mean come on please learn to read the room. the flat out refusal to communicate is the worst too I don’t think he’s ever had a good relationship in his life because ? relationships are about give and take.. not just taking are you crazy it’s like watching monkeys discuss water being wet right now to be honest
