I agree that in some dramas, ML characters seem to be made very greenforest and perfect and only exist to love FL. But, I don't think the same thing happened to this play. ML clearly has his own life, snowboarding, and he's struggling to raise money for his sister's medical expenses and muster up his courage again to achieve his dream of snowboarding. He is also unlike other MLs whose life is centered on FL. FL is also like that, she has manhua as her focus and dream. Most of their meetings happened because of coincidence, although there were some meetings that did happen because they wanted to meet. But, at each of those meetings, they always focus on each other's dreams.

You are right, this drama just about healing the leads. So, I'm happy that their close friend is someone they could trust and not a toxic one, like most of the second FL or ML in another drama. I want to watch always home, because i really like youth and highschool drama but I don't really like the part of square love where none of them getting the reciprocating for their love. This drama is one of the most peaceful dramas I have watched so far in the 16 eps I have watched. There are no lingering misunderstandings, no betrayals between friends and no scenes of excessive jealousy. All the conflicts so far have been resolved well. What I love most is that when FL and her friend fall in love with the same person they don't fight, distance themselves, or deny their feelings. But, instead talk about everything honestly and openly. ML also didn't drag on hiding the problem of his identity as FL's favorite comic artist, he was immediately honest with her after their official first date. I hope future episodes remain as good as this.
