IDK some feel like they own actors and can dictate in the decisions they make. Just weird to me.

I hate waiting like everyone else but I'm kinda glad that they are only releasing the 1 ep a day. it makes PoJ last longer because what are we going to do when it's over???? Had they not slowed down the release it would be nearly over because most 40 ep dramas last 3 weeks now a days. This way we get to keep it longer. Like a week or two. Win-win for me since I'm not ready to say goodbye yet. I do get the frustration though.

ZLH certainty knows how to pick his roles. Just found out today that his fandom didn't want him to take the role of Xie Zheng. But he did anyway. He must have loved the script when he read it and knew it was going to be something special. He was right.... look at the huge success it is. I'm glad he took it even though his fandom was against it.

He's also very good at those grey characters. I know he'll shine in the Noble.

I'm not sure. I just saw on here that his fans weren't happy at first and that caused fights between the fandoms.

Agreed. I liked her a lot with Dylan Wang in Guardians of the Dafeng too. That's not romance based, but their chemistry was so good! Have to say though Zhang Ling He is her best partner so far. Ditto for him although he also had great chemistry with Bai Lu.

With a few beloved couples repeating recently we never know. I just hope the problems faced with ZLH and TXW doesn't damage the chances for them repeating again. Apparently, they get along fine, I guess they won't mind working together again.

I need ZLH and TXW in another drama. A huge reason for PoJ being such a huge hit is because of their chemistry. Anyone who casts them together again will know that they could have a massive hit again. And I know the dramas being loved is not just on the actor's chemistry but the acting, the story, the directing, the sets, the characters etc. But having two leads with exquisite chemistry is always a plus. Like it happened here but of course Pursuit of Jade's success is a mix of everything. Still, I want to see them together again although I know with their fanbases fighting over billing at the beginning and their managers basically hating each other that could be nearly impossible. I hope someone takes a chance though and casts them again (crosses fingers).

Let's go 9.3! I already rated today's episode, like I always do. Hopefully we get that 9.3 soon.

OT: I saw that ZLQ's new upcoming drama is The Noble with Li Yi Tong and Chen Xing Xu. I'm excited I loved CXX in The Starry Love, so I know that he'll be great in TN. LYT was great in ADWaD and SAB. And with ZLQ? at the helm he can really bring out the best and the magic in everyone. I have a feeling that one is going to be really good too. Will it top PoJ? who knows. I doubt it but only time will tell.

I saw the trailer looks good. I guess if Dilriba’s drama doesn’t air I guess Rebirth will follow Pursuit of Jade.

I hate when they do that. Try to redeem the evil characters towards the end. Just leave them like they are. More focus on the secondary characters? sigh. I can handle that when they are likable, but I already dislike the 2ML. I'm probably going to get bored quickly then.

I think now that she knows he's Marquis Wu'an she'll stop over protecting him. She did that because she thought he was weak and could easily die in battle. TBR anyone with those wounds and no real battle experience, he told her he was a scout not a soldier. Could easily die. She did the same for her pig squad when they were in battle. Now knowing that he's a great general I think she'll let him do his thing. She'll still worry of course but she'll trust him.

He has a long road to earn her forgiveness.

I'm on ep 5. Sucks that it's going to go downhill fast. I do feel like the ML on there is kind of a red flag at first, so I'm interested to see how they change that later. If they do. But disappointing to know what happens after ep 15.
