7 million Netflix views for PoJ seems so small in comparison to the 3.3 Billion total views across Chinese platforms.…
yeah, since population in china is high, i feel like having those 3.3 billion proves how insane the popularity

Your rant doesn’t change the fact that, for some people, the drama is still pretty terrible. People are allowed…
Absolutely, everyone’s entitled to their opinion—but calling Pursuit of Jade terrible while still obsessively watching it and reading comments? That’s a bit rich.

GUYS FEW HATERS BACK TO THE DRAMA CALLING IT TOO DAUNTING. Calling Pursuit of Jade “bullshit” while binge-watching 20+ episodes and still checking comments? Congrats, you basically proved the drama hooked you more than you’re willing to admit. 😏
It’s a bit funny seeing comments like “stupid female lead,” “the drama is nonsense,” or “it went downhill”… while also saying you watched 20 episodes without skipping, skimmed the rest, and are still watching one episode a day just to see what the fuss is about.
If Pursuit of Jade was really that bad, most people would’ve dropped it long before episode 20. The truth is a lot of viewers connected with the story, the characters, and the emotional arcs, which is why the rating is high.
Not every drama works for everyone—and that’s fine. But calling the female lead “all brawn no brain” or acting like people only liked it for shallow reasons doesn’t really change the fact that many viewers genuinely enjoyed the story. 🙂
I WANT YALL TO EITHER ACT OR MAKE A DRAMA THAT WOULD BE TOTALLY FLAWLESS CUZ IT'S SEEM LIKE IT'S EASY THING FOR YOU GUYS.

There's nothing beautiful about her smile, in my opinion. Her mouth is too large. And she's not suited for comedic…
You created an MDL account today , watched POJ as your very first drama, and immediately wrote a whole essay dragging Tian Xiwei… that already says everything. 💀
If you hate her smile, her acting, her comedy, basically everything about her, then why are you even watching her drama? Go watch your “seasoned actresses'' and be happy there.

I’m a fan of all three, but fans should at least have some boundaries and respect for the work actors put in. Hate-watching a drama just to nitpick someone’s face and expressions is honestly more embarrassing than anything you’re criticizing.
At that point it’s not criticism anymore—it’s just bitterness.

Honestly, if you’re busy analyzing someone’s smile and inventing imitation theories, you probably weren’t going to enjoy the drama anyway. 😭
Tian Xiwei is just being expressive and having fun with the role. Not every playful moment is a failed attempt to be Bai Lu or Li Yitong. Different actresses, different styles.
At the end of the day, people who actually watch dramas to enjoy them will see the charm. If someone is this determined to nitpick every expression, no actress would satisfy them anyway. 🤷‍♀️✨

Imagine calling Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo a failure while people are still talking about it years later… maybe the problem isn’t the drama. 🙂
