now u say it, i kinda see it. the only difference i'd say is the comedy style and the romance in both the dramas.
and it's not that i didnt want watch it or not give it a second shot, which i indeed did. ive been a kim sohyun fan since my lovely liar was airing (which is like 2 years ago) and recently after i finished hometown cha cha cha and wlgyt, ive been sangyi and bogum's fan too. not to mention that i had watched and liked other projects of jungse and sungtae too. (i dont really know much abt wonseok). and since i had liked all the actors of this drama, i had pretty much high expectations for it but the comedy didnt sit well with me. the ending of ep 1 had me hooked but it later on went all to drain. i tried to continue ep 4 but i couldnt get over the first few minutes. i was bored asf. i'd definitely give this one another shot very soon ig. but i'd try to at least over ep 6 and then decide whether to continue or not

i had liked study group but i didnt like good boy. both of them dont really share much of similar plot or anything imo. the only thing in common would probably be them fighting (?). instead, i'd say that if you liked Extreme Job (2019), you would probably like this one too and vice versa. i do respect ur opinion of liking the show but the comedy here felt so forced for me. the ML was just childish asf which made it annoying for me to continue. i was excited for its release but i couldnt go over ep 3 for this one. i thought it would have been more of an action>sport>romance drama but it was more like comedy>action=romance drama (for me)

oh i had forgotten that part of why they broke up ig. but as far as i remember, he didnt interfere in her life cuz of her wanting to be married despite it not what she had wanted. it was because he saw her cry cuz of her menopause and the way she was creating a scene in the hospital for wanting a child. but either ways, both were toxic. she gave a man who loved her dearly a false hope and he left her traumatized forever.

for real. the drama indeed was a good watch but talking abt the characters, no one except the SFL were loveable, at least for me. the FL always wanted to act like the boss and only cared about her needs and feelings. the ML felt more like a pawn of the FL. and the SML, he was a bully and childish too.

i think he doesnt age at all. he lived in the jungle and waited for her. when he read the fl story or talked to her, it was all her imaginations (i think). but the last scene where she was going back to her place and we saw him, it probably wasnt imagination. he just doesnt age at all

well yes i agree with that too. and abt the comparisons, the only thing these drama share in common isnt only the time travel part but also an accident prevention storyline too. eungyeol wanted to prevent yichan's accident that costed his hearings while sol wanted to prevented the accident that made sunjae choose idol's career which lead to his suicide as she thought. but these two dramas are totally amazing in two different ways as you've mentioned above too.

i finished it right after it was aired and it was pretty good ngl. but the ML.. he was just a walking red flag. ive seen a lot of edits of him where people call him a "green" flag for noticing that FL was sad when she was laughing. he was toxic as hell tbh. he left his gf just cuz he got bored? and then got back in her life after 3 fucking years when she had moved on. he came back to her life cuz he was dying. she was about to get married too. he literally left her traumatized forever lol. and the way he always kept on harassing her. abducted her, kissed her without her consent, a lot of wrist grabbing scenes, etc. i really dont get why people keep on calling him a green flag lmao

fr and being honest, hyeryeong was the actual bitch in the series. idk why people call her the savage queen when she was literally abusing gye bunok through out the whole series. just because bunok didnt cry or sow emotions like others did, they called her evil and the villain. yes she did bad stuffs but she wasnt a bad person, the situation she was in made her look bad and helpless. hyeyoon did a really good job playing the role of bunok

the way he had pulled the character of cho sangwoo. i swear that i can imagine no one else doing the role of sangwoo in squid game. he's def making it to one of my fav actors

i agree. especially with the SFL one. and she's NEVER called an ice queen but always a bitch. the double standards always make me want to punch a wall lol

if instead of the rebellion Gihun had agreed to take down some O's or at least make an effort to save the X's, he could have had saved many lives. he by then should have known how powerful the organization is knowing that they spend millions every year just in that game. he can't take them down with 13 players at all lol.
