finished the drama just now and now i know why it has such high ratings. not only it has amazing vfx effects and story line, it also portrays some actual non-toxic relations between lovers. it's kinda rare to find these types of storyline. also, non abusive parents and it portrayed kid's and parent's love for each other really well too

watched ep 16 and there i found 3 actors who acted in squid game s2/s3.
anyways, loving the drama up to here!

he sneaked into the island without anyone's help, found his lost brother, found proof of the games being played illegally (even tho the videos didnt get sent).

yup it's a good watch

completed it just now and it really didnt disappoint me in any episodes. all the characters were loveable (not talking abt mirae's office workers), well written and the story healed a lot of us.

even the story line and the backstory of each character. it's unmatchable

finishing the last season is making me miss the s1 and it's character a lot. all the characters were really well written with all of them having great backstory. and junho.. the only thing he did in s2 and 3 was serve his face card, nothing more than that. in s1, he at least accomplished something.

i agree. that's a sad reality of real life too. in dramas, whenever a female lead is mistreated by someone else than the male lead (yes the male lead can do whatever he wants to do with the girl) people go and say that the fl deserves justice and the one who mistreated her deserves to die. but when that happens irl, people quite often support the male.

real. if a male actor is playing the character of quite and nonchalant people go and praise them saying they did a really good job with their role but when it comes to a female, they usually go an hate the actor for being "unexpressive" and call them a bad actress. like tf? it's how the character is.

being honest, the only reason why i started the drama is kim sohyun. and she will be the reason why i will complete it too. she's one of my favorite actresses.
but, not appreciating her doesnt mean that people are hating her. ive seen many people complementing her role in this drama. yes it may be comparatively lesser than the praises bogum is getting but it still it in a good amount.

he probably wont give her away to ngo. his brother, inho, is a man of strategy and he probably knows his brother really well and probably was certain that he wont send her away. junho's the only one whom frontman trusts outside the games

i agree tho. but gihun is that dude who never kills anyone unless he holds a strong grudge against them. like sangwoo and he only used the knife when the people started attacking the baby. but killing hyeonju in ep 2? that was a fucking awful idea.
