im pretty confused too but the last time i checked, before the tw being #1 at popularity, it had like 129k viewers (i keep on checking the page of tw). but now it had gone up to 140k in just a few days. and it's popularity was around 40-45 but now it's 36.

i agree even though i totally understand why people hate the character.

tbh it's a plus point for the show. the ml lost his hearing ability at the end even tho his son tried to prevent it but his disability didnt stop him from achieving. that's what the show is tryna portray. in other kdramas of similar gerne (like lovely runner you've mentioned) they usually show that the protagonist being successful= no one being disabled. but twinkling watermelon showed us something different. i'd recommend u the drama, it's actually awesome.

the drama had always been in trending since it was airing if i know. it sometimes left the place cuz of the newer dramas. probably cuz it's summer break for a lot of people, they are binging it. it's ranked #2 in the ratings dramas as well
also many other dramas from previous years are trending too so it's probably because of the holidays? or maybe it can be just a mdl glitch. i remember recently a lot of dramas were shown s #0 in popularity for a whole day.

was rewatching squid game s1 and ig we can pretty much say that if it werent for sangwoo (and ali too) gihun wouldnt have made it through the first games. i also realized that gihun, at the end of the series was able to save one life while sangwoo saved 14 lives (using the clause 3, 14 people didnt join the games).
where gihun had gone wrong was telling people that he had played the games before. people thought that if the previous winner is there, they got a higher chance of surviving which made people vote for O

he was lit one of my faves in s1. all to see him this useless in the other series

that's really sad and frustrating to listen. those monsters destroyed the whole life of the little girl and her father as well and there is no justice because of the relation with the politician? in this world they arent gonna get punished so i hope they all rot in hell forever

what gitae wanted was him to be seen by anyone. and when the only people who listened to him and saw him left him. it did hurt him a lot when the only person he cared about said that he disgusts him, he made the decision of suicide

the glasses shows the s-line as we know. and he probably went crazy? he probably wanted his s line to be 0. ig we will find that out in the upcoming episodes

i finally completed it after half a year of being stick in the ep 9. had to play it in 2x speed. the second half was really awful that it made me forgot how much i liked the first few episodes of the drama

small gestures really make big impacts and this move proved it right for me. really loved the characterization of yong jun. he's such an adorable dude whose feelings towards yeoreum is all just love and affection. here are some of the scenes where his small gestures made huge impact on me:
1. the scene where yeorum gets a call from the hospital she rushes to there. i expected yongjun to follow her like any other male lead does whenever they see their girl rushing but he didnt. he instead respected her privacy
2. the scene where they were yeongjun told him to not come and see them ever again. after arguing with him, she was heading towards the gate (?) and i expected him to go grab her wrist and the start talking about why she doesnt want them to be friends anymore like it's usually shown in kdramas but he instead ran towards her front. no force done here.
3. when his friend suggested him that he can instead go to her and beg her to not break their friendship but he took yeorum's "no" as an answer.

hong kyung really did justice to he character of yongjun. he's an amazing actor for sure!
