i feel like the acting was best during the island episodes idk what made it worse as the show progressed instead…
Because the Island episodes were about them bonding and they have real chemistry so it was charming and sweet even if the acting was shaky. The mafia crap is way beyond their capabilities. But I like this pairing a lot, I hope they get cast in things that suit them better
Wow the latest comments here are so balanced and fair I feel like I walked into the wrong message thread 🤣. The show's writing went to shit but P&P had some achingly sweet moments and I want to see more of them. A lot of GMMTV actors started out pretty weak and got better so I'm rooting for them. They have the chemistry and acting can be learned.
I restarted watching this drama again, starting from Episode 9. Somehow this drama is not really directed or written…
I mean if it comes right down to it he didn't need to go over to the house at all to to her, he could have done it on FaceTime. But you know drama reasons 😅
Btw, what does everyone think of Young Joo's sudden crush?
It came across as predatory and a bit offensive because he was like her last desperate hope for a relationship so she almost tried to trick him into one. What was that business with if you eat the fish you're my boyfriend? Alll the nopes and red flags there.
She does look much too old for this role though. Even though I'm quite enjoying the story, it irritates me that…
She's styled that way on purpose because the fantasy is that you can be a mother who is too busy caring for her family and running her business and still win the love of a handsome and wealthy man. We know that the actress can look glamorous when she's styled that way. The dowdy ahjumma look isn't a choice the actress made, it was made by the production team.
It's not. It's a fun, fast watch but I gave it 7.5. The writing is kind of a mess and the production looks budget with weird editing. But the two MLs are hot as hell and main couple has good chemistry plus there's a lot of laugh out loud moments. This is a turn off your brain one time watch.
Here is the way I see it:Up to now, we have been used to whether it is the case of an older man with a younger…
When I find interesting is that the same actress played opposite an actor 14 years younger than her in the drama Lost and no one made a thing about the age difference. Part of that might be that it wasn't a widely watched drama and that the tone is completely different. But still, there's something that this drama in particular that's setting people off and I can't figure out exactly what it is.
I think the point of Neung going away was to give him time to mature and learn to take care of himself. Palm's mother's death was the catalyst for him to realize he couldn't keep relying on everyone to take care of him and putting other people in danger as a result. He wasn't ready to take a lead role in the company until he had the chance to get to know himself outside of his sheltered cocoon.
Now whether all that was executed well is another story 🥲 Phuwin can't really pull off young CEO. But despite all the silliness I still kind of love this series just because of the sweet moments between the leads. Sometimes all you need are two extremely pretty young men pining for each other. It's PWP (pining without plot)
Also are Thai dramas and BLs known for coherent plotting and a lack of implausibility because lbr 😅
Very thoughtful post.I haven't re-watched every single episode, but it's clear to me that the two lead characters…
Her clothes are very trendy at the moment. I see a lot of 20 somethings in my neighborhood wearing high-waisted jeans and similar prints. I think they're dressing her that way to contrast her being fun and not stuffy unlike the SKY moms
I'm just going to go ahead and mention the elephant in the room. Is there anyone watching who's not familiar with…
The same actress was in the drama Lost with Ryu Jun Yeol who is 14 years younger than her and no one complained about the age gap. I think it's a problem with the writing and also I personally don't feel a lot of romantic chemistry between the leads but I'm only up to episode 5 so maybe it gets stronger later.
I find the FL incredibly abrasive and I know it's supposed to be funny but the way she keeps slapping, shoving…
I just finished watching ep 5 and the relationship between the FL and her brother was more fully fleshed out and there were some very touching scenes between them. I like it all a lot better even though I still don't like the earlier scenes.
Well, sorry but I have to ask this... How was the romance?
I'm enjoying the show a lot but honestly five episodes in I'm seeing zero romantic chemistry. It's still a really well done show and very funny so worth watching (at least so far)
I'm up to ep 3 and I'm struggling with the FL in the same way I struggled with the FL in Into the Ring (which…
I find the FL incredibly abrasive and I know it's supposed to be funny but the way she keeps slapping, shoving and speaking rudely to her brother is so off putting. I also disliked her in the scene where she refuses the phone from the ML and her behavior at the police station.
I love strong FLs. For example, My Lovely Sam Soon is one of my favorite dramas and I loved Gorya in F4 Thailand. But there's a fine line between sassy/assertive and rude and for me the FL keeps crossing that line.
I'm up to ep 3 and I'm struggling with the FL in the same way I struggled with the FL in Into the Ring (which I ended up dropping). Details in reply so I can hide spoilers. I'll probably drop this too but it's a shame because I love the hot mess of a ML and all of the wonderful actors in the supporting roles like Hwang Bo-ra.
One thing, it was not the parents who destroyed the ties between families. It was Sudteeluk herself, after all…
Yes, this!!! Also she was an adult and he was a minor when they got involved and the show never really dealt with that, Phukhao's mother was the only person who called it out but she was almost treated like she was wrong minded or unkind when she was just making 100% sense.
