lol Meet Yourself was so much better than whatever that mess HomCha was. One was actually fun, peaceful, good written and worth watching the other was... Just a mess with annoying characters
This drama was truly a shame to Go Youn Jung's filmography. Especially thinking how it was her first main lead, not to mention she was trapped to be in S2. Anyway, the drama did her dirty. No wonder she keeps telling Moving is the drama she felt respected as an actress and her family hated that AOS era.
glad you appreciate susu being a woman on a mission! 💜
I saw so many people getting angry at her for not making him her priority but... She went back on time just to kill him and save the realm, wanting her to give up on her mission is so selfish no matter how much Taijin suffered (I love him btw)
The story of betrayal, love and sacrifice. When enemies to lovers is actually done right
Honestly, I'm so sad for starting it too late despite all my friends recommending it but still happy for being able to watch it before it was too late. It was one of the "My comfort couple have never seen comfort in their whole life" incidents... They truly went through a hell together.
One of the best things about this show was that no character was one-dimensional. I somehow could attach even some background characters we only saw only 2-3 times. Female characters weren't written stereotypically. I pitied the female antagonist and wanted her to be happy too at some point because I could understand where she was coming from. And I adored Susu. She was responsible till the end and we could see her struggles after falling in love with Taijin, the man she needs to kill to save the realm and her family. And till the last episode, her character development was so visible alongside with Taijin.
And Tan Taijin's "sad backstory" wasn't actually forced. I loved when it was all explained in the last arcs. Everything and everyone were so well connected. The most pitiful character of the story but the writer doesn't pity him all... He went through so many things he didn't deserve at all.
At some point, I was too tired of Susu\Xiwu and Taijin's complicated and messy relationship like they were too but I think it was written good enough to keep me rooted for them till the end? And of course credits to the acting. Bailu and Luo Yunxi's insane chemistry and portrayal of multiple characters was probably the best thing about this drama.
Anyway, in the end, I bawled my eyes out for 5 minutes without a break. I don't want to hear the word "Moon" ever again
Just finished the last episode... I am crying so hard, my eyes are hurt. I don't know what to say. I haven't cried this bad since Reign season 3, episode 5
Samee, they were still using flip phones in the drama lolol. I was in middle school in 2012 and my classmates…
I think it was just bcz they were highschoolers? It wasn't flip phone either, just an old model. I remember some of my classmates had these things and we saw them as people who had the luxury. For highschoolers, phones were seen as luxury back then. But after getting into the university, the characters had new model phones too
I can't understand people saying it was so difficult to get it bcz it wasn't complicated at all tbh apart from the murder subplot which it was solved as well? There will be some spoilers in this comment.
The romance part was actually so bittersweet. She was in depression as well even tho we understood it towards the end. She tried to find a way to be free from all that and "sea" was her solution. It was foreshadowed from the start when she said she loved sea. In the end, he will live with this misery for the rest of his life. The last scene was also a summarization of their love. Their love was based on longing and pining on each other. So when he confessed, his love ended. And when she lost him, her love started. So in the end, he kept looking for her, and he will never get her again. So it means their love is eternal.
The cinematogrphy was insanely good. Park Chan Wook is one phenomenal man. And I'm in love with his anti hero women.
It is my favorite in the trilogy for sure. The storytelling is just top notch in this one. No matter how many times I rewatch it, I can never handle the second half of the movie.
Hidden Love was good too, I really enjoyed it but it's just romance focused and a little slowburn (obv I understand the reason) and it's not really my thing. I love slowburn when we can have other things to focus on in dramas.
Does anyone else think that this series can have multiple seasons because of multiple characters and so many possible…
The webtoons are actually happening in the same universe. It's like Marvel in a way. The 2nd webtoon Bridge, has some familiar characters like Heesoo. But the other webtoons have different storylines and casts.
Disney+ has said if Moving was successful, they would adapt the other webtoons as well.

And I was already planning to watch Love is Sweet. I need some therapy

P.S: Lee Young Ae is really sexy...
