THIS IS SUCH A CUTE DRAMA!!!! I LOVED IT! I have spent the entire week struggling with dramas and dropping them first episodes but this one got me excited until the last episode! They are so cute together and so many funny scenes i couldnt stop laughing. Also the plot twist at the end and even the fighting scene it was so good! Exactly what i needed! The lead actors are so pretty too just ended every episode with a big smile! Give it a try it might be your thing!
- Yes its not perfect and theres some plot holes in there but its very enjoyable and i love how even though it has the typical cliches and dramas the fl doesnt fall for it and decides to trust him LIKE FINALLY OFC SHE CAN SEE ITS JUST A SCHEME TO GET THEM TO BREAK UP! I love how they joke so openly about sex/horny stuff it was just funny to see and also for the people hating on the ml i actually think he did a good job i loved his character he looked really pretty and cool!
idk how this season as the same ratings when its very below the first one. Im only on ep 3 but im struggling, its just not as exciting, the games arent that interesting, i was hopping to see a more brave arisu but he was way smarter and cooler in the first season now he just seems like a depressive boring grandpa lol he doesnt learn even after seeing so many people die.. it feels like he doesnt take the games seriously anymore he is just like oh well we are gonna die let me just cry about it :\ the first king was so mediocre too idk i was expecting more

idk in my opinion it felt like after so many years and by fate met again they were just tired of fighting their feelings especially when both of them were unhappy when apart. The reason for her to move in with him was silly and dumb and she knew that but obviously she wanted this as much as he wanted it thats why she didnt even fight it. They didnt run into each other before bc he went abroad and she thought he hated her so never even thought of reaching out, while she hurted him during the breakup so he didnt reach out either. When they met again and the silly misunderstandings were cleared they knew there was no fighting their feelings anymore. Also remember they go from 18 to 28! A huge diference in age but also zhouwan isnt a poor irrelevant fragile girl anymore, she has money, status, the confidence and maturity to not see his family as a "threat" anymore. She now thinks she can help and protect him the way she couldnt before ( for example the scene where she jumps infront of him to protect him during a fight).
I was planning to watch this but knowing their parents are together romantically..then the kids also get together…
well the parents are together but its a very business relationship more than anything. They dont really show love at any point. She is with him for the money and he is with her just for the "i have a happy family!" appearances and ditches her the second something goes wrong. For me it never feels weird like other similar plot shows

it was more about zhouwan urgently needing the money and obviously if she told the family, she knew her mom would be kicked out and lose all the money meaning no helping her and the grandma. Basically her mom pulled a "well if u fuck me over u will be fucked too."
i dont like this one as much as the first season. The whole truck-nim thing is such a kdrama cliche its so dumb especially in this drama, also the friend group from this season doesnt compare to the one from the first season like the characters are so similar: one was bullied and weak, the other one is very good at martial arts.. copy paste characters i hate it. I would have prefer if they focused on baekjin lore more, his story was tragic but also in the webtoon he is the top leader which makes him a way cooler villain while in the drama they made him a scared dog taking orders from another dude. Idk it felt boring to me, this is a short show so why even invent MORE new characters? They dont go deep into the them so i feel zero emotional connection. Also the actor from xo kitty?!??! and ryeo un, i loved him in other dramas but i felt he wasnt the best call for this role. Now lee jun-young was amazing, he has that creepy smile perfect for this role and I really liked the other two main actors too. I just hope third season is better.. I also miss how sieun used to go all nerdy and explaining physics while fighting and now he doesnt do that anymore :c First season 10/10 this one i gave it a 7.5/10.

right after they break up the male lead does go on a few dates with a girl and kinda "dates" her but its not shown at all, its just shown he had no interest in her and only accepted to go out with her bc he was hurt about the breakup

new comfort show 💗.. i havent loved a modern drama like this since " When I Fly Towards You". i dropped it last year and tried to give another chance bc of the ratings but i seriously dont get it.. im on ep 16 and its so boring, their marriage is boring, political side is not shown too much so its also boring and they add a new annoying dislikeable character every episode that i dont give a shit about. The ml is not even that likeable.. he is carrying a jade of another woman, one scene he is nice the other he is cold and saying borderline misogynist stuff. This is also giving me flashbacks to the Love Like The Galaxy power dynamic and age gap, they dont explicitly say their ages but its the way she talks and acts compared with the ml which makes me a bit uncomfortable.
