I echo all your comments. I too, I truly hope Bai Lu can one day have the freedom to choose her scripts and work more freely. The opportunity to fully explore her potential on her own terms. But no matter what, I’m confident we’ll all continue to support her, whatever path she decides to take! Having said that, honestly, I can’t imagine being in her shoes — decisions like these are never easy!! 😬 Still, I trust that she knows what’s best for herself. That’s one of the many reasons she’s so special — she doesn’t take things lightly. Just look at how every role holds meaning for her, she pours her heart and soul into each performance. So it’s not surprising that she’d also want to show the same loyalty and respect to Yu Zheng, someone who believed in her and signed her in the first place. I know I sound like a broken record, but HONESTLY in my opinion, you really can't go wrong with any of her dramas! Just dive in and watch her acting growth. You’ll see how incredible she is in every performance and can judge for yourself which one you like and which one you didn't like. And if you're in the mood for some good laughs, check out her variety show appearances (ie: Keep Running, Hi6, etc.). You’ll love her even more there! ❤️🩷

But honestly, I love all Bai Lu's male leads, second leads, or any guy friends (and haha, need to include the females too!) who share that special bond of friendship with her and always treat her with that extra bit of care and attention!
Everything Joseph is doing, from showing genuine respect, gratefulness for recommending him and the extra care for Bai Lu, to going the extra mile in promoting their drama, is so heartwarming. He didn’t just stop at the usual promotions, he went above and beyond with things like duet songs, organizing drone shows, and even visiting her personally to celebrate reaching the 10K heat index.
I also agree Joseph is mature and such a gentleman (especially to Bai Lu 🤭). Just look at his apartment tour for AD, it was simple (so many plants!) yet perfectly fitting that matched his calm, grounded demeanor! (But I can't deny that there were definitely some expensive touches.)
In summary, ANYONE who respects Bai Lu and takes the extra steps to care for her absolutely earns my respect and admiration! Bai Lu is smart and will know who is best for her. But at the moment, I really hope JZ and BL's friendship lasts for a long, long, long time 🩷💕
