If you are an action girl or have been watching Cdrama for a long time the actresses from the 90s to early 2000 you will understand how satisfying it is to watch FL action scenes and acting. She looks so convincing that my eyes follow everything she does on screen. This is how you know you have a good actor or actress when they have already captured you from episode one, thanks to the directors and scriptwriters for choosing her, I need to see her in more drama going forward.
Also, I have seen Netizen's comments saying ML is not handsome maybe to you he is not but to some of us he is very handsome, charismatic, and a good actor. We are tired of seeing the feminine girly actor who can't act and look unconvincing in their action scenes. Most of these big ML and FL stars are overrated with mediocre acting abilities while the good ones are underrated.
You are right on him being treated like shit. sorry I didn't first understand your point. I just felt like his not wanting to be crowned prince had nothing to do with the political side of things. In his understanding he thought Ying was saying it so she could be crowned princess or Empress. He came from the royal family and knew how his family treated him. His being a crown prince was not about power or her wanting the position as crown princess and Empress, it was about him protecting the people he loves and the country. How can he not understand his own family after everything they have done to him? Like Ying told him they will never allow him to go freely. Look what is happening, even when he sitting like a sheep his brother is planning to kill him. As long as Li Ni is alive and Ying loves him with her father being General Cui both are never going to be free. I'm enjoying how his father treating him like the shit he is to them.

Men like Li Ni and Zhousheng Chen use their weaknesses in the name of righteousness to not fight for anything they want to them their reputation comes first. So in the end they use their death as an escape from reality without knowing the people who left will suffer and follow too.

The writers decided to make him a spineless character that got so many people to kill and die for him. And they want me to believe that he went on to have a happy life after this? Even after what his shit character when through he was still being played as a fool and second-guessing to marry Ying. He had no respect for her love or for love itself and zero understanding of the crown prince's role or Politics. After such a loss he suffered Li Ni didn't grow any intellectual understanding of what was happening around him.

As far as I'm concerned this drama ended at episode 31 for me. There is no way 5 to 6 arrows can pass through you and you survive. What is the writer thinking in the name of a happy ending you f*** up the character's critical thinking/ common sense and let him go on to marry and have two children. All the so-called villains die on episode 31 who is he going to fight against Cui Lin crazy ass and Lady Gu's?
I like the two leads and 2 ML not familiar with 2 FL. But whenever the second leads are more loved by fans in a drama it means the first leads didn't bring their A-game. Which was not their fault but the scriptwriters and directors' fault. They change the novel so much that it messes up the whole freaking drama. One of the reasons why the drama: ( Love Me, Love My Voice) is doing so well with fans is because the directors and scriptwriters left the novel alone by not changing maybe anything. If I'm not mistaken only the switching of scenes and time around took place.
A lot of Cdrama directors and writers do this mess by changing so much in of the original novel and a lot of the drama I have seen doing this didn't sit well with fans. Some fans have blind loyalty so if their favorite are in these dramas honest opinions will never be said. If you have read the novel then people will understand where I'm coming from. This drama didn't live up to anything when it came to the FL and ML, stupid writers and directors spoiling a nice novel. If they could've done better why not write a script from scratch?
