Luo Yun Xi the man who embodied elegance in his acting is such a joy to watch everything about his acting is tasteful, the way he moves gracefully, his smiles, the way he talk, his head movements has grace and poise in how he carries himself. The only downside is he doesn't grace our screens with back to back drama like others actors, it takes a long time before you see him in a new drama, I wonder what is the reason for that?

This drama is made out of short drama actors I saw so many of them in supporting roles.

I'm already confused about why he has not been given the opportunity as an ML in a bigger role. He always acts in good mini-drama and it seems directors go to him a lot to act in these. So why not offer him full-length drama then? It's not like Richard can't act we all know he has the ability. In my opinion, he is better than some of these big actors/ traffic stars.

Mini-drama 🤴 is back with a new one, Richard never disappoints he always picks good roles can't wait to see it. He is one of the best kissers in the Cdrama period regardless of full-length or mini. I'm praying that he gets a bigger role one of these days. I can see he the go-to guy for directors when it's comes to mini-dramas because they know he has what it takes, so why is he not given the opportunity for bigger roles?

The amazing handsome Yanxi with his elegant posture and excellent acting skills nice to see you again.

Been waiting for something new from this actor, it's finally here. I have seen him in two other dramas he has excellent acting skills and not just a handsome face with a good voice and if given more resources as time goes by he going to get better and better.

I look at the actors' or actresses' skills before their appearance because a lot of these big major actors are just handsome or Pretty decorations to look at in a drama. A lot of actors are put into these dramas because they are beautiful or popular and can't act. And some of us, viewers are not only trying to look at the actor's faces alone but also watch good drama with good acting skills for our leads.

Not trying to say that good-looking actors are a bad thing, to me enjoying a good drama and looking at beautiful people is a bonus 😀 especially when they can act. I'm tired of looking at Pretty accessories with bad acting who get drama back to back.

I think most people forget or just don't know that this is an adaptation of a novel right? So as a continuation of the novel things will change first season will be a bit different from season 2.
So you not enjoying season two it not because the director or actors not doing a good job. The director did well with the adoption 👏 and removed or changed thing that censorship was not going to allow to pass.

I'm even surprised that they doing so well with adapting the novel because most Cdrama director and scriptwriters are bad when it comes to this and will mess up a beautiful novel. I love to read Chinese novel so most of the novel that have been adapted I read them if they are in English translation before or while the drama is on. Joy of life is a 700 plus novel with a ML who is a time traveler from morden time.

A novel that you will hate or like, A ML that you will hate or like in my opinion, Zhang Ruoyun really is what Fan Xian should be like.

I think what you find different is due to them following the novel. In my opinion, they doing well adapting the novel but you may be right also.

Agree with what you said, I have said this before most Cdrama get higher scores based on the popularity of the actors. Because they are fan's favorites and not based on the drama itself. I have seen a lot of good dramas whose scores are so low because a lot of fans don't like the actors or actresses. Not to say some drama doesn't deserve low ratings as a matter of fact lot of these traffic star some of their dramas should've gotten lower scores.

I'm not too like I said it's just a few episodes in and so far in my opinion it's still on track with the novel.

I'm glad Chinese fans love it because most are readers like myself and whenever directors or scriptwriters mess up the novel due to the drama they can be brutal.

What going on? I'm a bit scared because the reviews are mixed seeing a lot of disappointed fans. Do have my opinion but it is just a few episodes in so it bit soon to start positive and negative things. I also think most of the people that disappointed don't know the novel so it does not help the drama. It was 8.7 on yes on the first day or second, now it has gone to 8.6 and may change for the good or bad before the drama ends.
