You may not have literally said ‘right or wrong,’ but your own words like ‘I can’t wait to see how he redeems himself’ already frame MZY as the one who is wrong and needs to make up for it, while WZ is portrayed only as heartbroken and in pain. That is still categorizing, just not in the exact words you accuse others of using. If the point is reconciliation, then it should be about both of them acknowledging their mistakes, not making it look like only MZY has to prove his love.

And how did she know he would destroy every demon in the demon world? She saw with her own eyes how he spared the goose demon and the tree demon because they were not evil, so can’t she at least have some basic trust in him as a spouse? I know he is wrong too and on multiple levels, but going by your comment, she did not even have an ounce of trust in him. Then why marry him at all, just because of his face or something?

Tbh she can also trust him na? It goes both ways, so we can’t expect MZY to blindly trust her when she herself doesn’t trust him. She still spends more time with WZS and shares more secrets with him even after marriage, so then what is the point of their marriage? But yeah I can't expect you to understand that so my bad!!

But is MZY a mind reader? How is he supposed to know that all she wanted was someone to love her if she never communicated it? She should also make an effort to express what she needs, right? If MZY gets called toxic for helping his childhood friends, shouldn’t she also be held accountable for that? Nuance should go both ways, not just when it favors the FL.

She is also choosing Demon World everytime over him so it's not his fault tbh. Just because she is suspicious doesn't mean, she doesn't trust WZS more than MZY. You can see multiple times that she is more close and shares more secrets with WZS than MZY. Yes, I'm triggered by the word 'redeeming' because the way you framed it feels like only MZY was at fault while WZ is some victim who is getting betrayed by everyone.

They ignore the fact that WZ still trusts WZS so much, even after he betrayed her multiple times, just because they grew up together. She even trusts him more than her own husband, who should be the closest person to her. Yet when MZY tries to save his childhood friends, he is suddenly labeled as toxic and accused of not loving his wife at all. Honestly, I think audiences view the FL and SML through rose tinted glasses.

I honestly don’t get this whole ‘redeeming’ thing. What exactly did he do wrong that he now has to bow down and beg for her forgiveness? Both of them were at fault, and him going to the Demon World feels natural because she was not being truthful with him and most of the demons he has encountered have been bad anyway. And why are you trying to make it seem like he was the only one who was wrong here? She trusted her friend WZS, who betrayed her multiple times, more than her own husband, the person she shared a bed with and was most intimate with. Isn’t that wrong of her too? Shouldn’t she also ask for his forgiveness and try to reconcile instead of leaving everything on MZY?

Yeah I agree with that. I also don't like too many unnecessary misunderstandings and angst in the drama. Where did you watch the previews till ep-19?

Yeah I agree with you but I don't understand why all these dramas have to have FL/ML try to make their potential significant others jealous using a 3rd party. My favorite thing about the novel was that the leads were pretty understanding of each other in the novel and didn't have these misunderstandings at all which is the only thing I'm disappointed with the drama about. My supportive couple from the novel has been changed to this I don't know what to say couple, FL was so endearing in the novel and knew that making ML jealous was not the right way so once she confirmed her feelings for him she stayed away from other men but here she is unintentionally flirting with other men for no apparent reason just to make ML jealous which is not a sign of a good relationship.

The thing I don't like is how WZ is still being pretty friendly with him even after this happened. It's not like her to not suspect that there is something wrong going on with what happened, so she should have investigated why it happened a bit. She is saying she loves ML so at least she should be at least be pretty United on that front instead of trying to unintentionally flirt with every person that walks on two legs.

This drama is really great if you want to watch it for sisterhood. But the thing is I don't like how the problems faced by men in this are seen in a comedic way, it's like this drama glosses over the abuse men suffer from their wives but instead only focuses on the abuse or neglect suffered by women. The whole romance between the leads is so one sided that if ML didn't make so many advances and did so many things for FL, FL wouldn't even have cared about him. Even if FL gets jealous or something bad happens to her, ML apologizes to her but when vice versa happens even then ML has to apologize or pursue her like the self centred person she is. Her mom can seduce her father using deceit but if others do that then it's called lying. What a hypocrite and immature person she is.

The females in this drama are such a hypocrite tbh. When Yin Qi was getting beaten by Shangguan Ying, no one bated a eye but when Yin An was giving punishment to his wives because they used contraception without consulting their husband they banded together to oppose him. Is that what feminism now stands for? How are they different than Yin Song then? He also used infertility drugs to make his wife infertile but he is the culprit now while Solar term ladies and his main wife was a good person for doing this. What a hypocrite screenwriter and this drama is. This whole drama is fucked up tbh.

FL is so dumb in ep-21 tbh. Why did she ask everyone to leave when she interrogated Old Bug? At least she could have kept Tong Shuang with her but no she wants to become all intelligent and doesn't even want to have a backup plan at all.

It was already mentioned in ep-1 that while he had stronger martial arts, he let her win most of the time because he couldn't bear to hurt her. You can see that from the start so my point still stands.

Yeah I also thought that FL will be this super annoying girl who is all talk and doesn't use her brains a lot because of the comments but I was wrong, she was totally correct in what she did. Her father was killed in a murder with only him as a survivor so it's natural for her to be suspicious. She might have not been this much suspicious if he didn't take 3 years to again meet with her. He is also stronger than her in martial arts so it's natural for her to be cautious in dealing with him so her giving him medicine to temporarily disable his martial arts is totally valid tbh.

I just don’t get one thing, guys. In ep-2, XBM wasn’t originally supposed to come on the boat and was only added at the last minute. So how could Yesha’s plan have included him too? If he hadn’t come on the boat, then wouldn’t there be no culprit in Yesha’s case?
