Isn't 21 episodes too few for a Cdrama? It would make sense if the episodes were each an hour long, but apparently they're not, as Cdramas typically run for 40 to 50 minutes. I wanted more episodes from this drama since the leads are my favorites, and the mature romance combined with a strong storyline sounds appealing.

How do you know that? Do you have any proofs? If so ,please share here.

First of all, when did I mention anything about the drama? I didn't even watch it, so how could it become my favorite? This platform isn't for seeking validation, which you probably wouldn't even get in real life. MDL is for sharing opinions, reviews, and criticisms. Our discussion wasn't even about whether the drama was good or bad. I replied because you mentioned watching dramas to learn something from them. You said, "I don't care if a drama is poorly acted by some cast members. I don't care if it has poor editing or effects. I don't care if it has plot holes. I only want one thing." On what basis are you judging the drama then? These are standard criteria for judging any drama or movie. You mentioned explaining well why you didn't like the drama, but I don't see any genuine criticism suggesting why you gave it a 2 out of 10 rating. This will be my last reply because your responses are becoming more and more ridiculous.

Does it matter, though, that you've been watching novels and serials since age 7? You didn't like the drama to the point of giving it a 2 out of 10 rating, and when someone asked why you didn't like it, you gave vague answers like "it doesn't teach me something." You should at least justify why you're giving such a low rating with some effort, because your vague opinion can deter some people from watching the drama. Giving opinions and constructive criticisms is good, but that doesn't mean you give them without any context of why you didn't like them. Opinions are only meaningful when they add value, not just writing "2/10." If you only like the drama when it aligns with your set of values, then maybe you wouldn't have watched many great classics because the characters there are generally black or grey in nature. And even if you're watching it to learn something, you're probably better off watching some history lessons and documentaries, which are much more meaningful in terms of learning.

Why is there such gender bias in your ratings? On one hand, you seem to enjoy "noona romances" where the female leads are significantly older than the male leads, both on screen and in real life. You even have the upcoming noona romance, "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon," featuring a female actress who is 11 years older than the male actor, on your plan to watch list. Yet, you criticize Li Gen Xin for his dating preferences or for dating a girl younger than him. They are both adults and are free to date each other, even by law. Who are you to label him as creepy when your own preferences seem to lean towards older women dating younger men? Even in your highest-rated show, "Search WWW," the leads in real life had an age difference of 13 years, so don't go around calling Li Gen Xin a creepy old man because you don't have the right to say it.

What was the relationship between the uncle and the killer? It doesn't make sense to me that the killer is willing to risk his life and kill people for the uncle just because the killer was saved by the uncle. Also, the uncle was too lenient on him even after the killer tried to kill the nephew. I thought the uncle would kill him and not send him somewhere else when he is not useful anymore. I almost believed that they had something romantic going on.

The FL has some power where if a rich person looks in her eyes, they become enthralled with her and think of her as their type even following her instructions.

It wasn't explained in the drama. You just have to believe that they had their methods.

Hey, hey, hey, why are you getting triggered? It was a genuine opinion from my side. I didn't ask you not to share your opinions. It's a public platform and you are free share your opinions as you like. But as you said that you are bored of the "typical ideal CEO-employee relationship; it's just straight out of Wattpad. ML is cold, aloof, will not get along with FL, and FL is righteous and misunderstood by ML," so shouldn't you not watch the drama as your opinion will be somewhat biased? And regarding you being a fan of Yang Zi, that's why you are watching the drama. You should be her fan because she is a wonderful actress, but just because you like a certain actor/actress doesn't mean you will watch all their dramas, even after knowing that they have some tropes or genres that you don't like. Like I'm a fan of Kim Soo Hyun, but still, I didn't watch "One Ordinary Day" because I don't like the theme/genre, and I will not be able to enjoy watching it. It's like saying you know there is a lotus in a pond full of mud, and you will get dirty, but you still willingly took a swim in it to take the lotus just because you fancy it.

Have you ever thought that maybe these types of dramas are simply not for you? I believe every drama has its audience, and if you don't like the drama, just stop watching it. Just because I didn't like a particular drama or some tropes doesn't mean that others can't enjoy them, and vice versa. I also don't understand why some people still try to watch a particular drama if they feel it's cliché, boring, and generally not their type.
