They focused on everyone else but Nan Ya even in the ending idk I didn't like that choice. It was decent and explored how abuse apologia and enablers runs rampant even by people who claim to help and support her. I do wish we saw more from her perspective especially in the last episode. The performances and production quality are amazing though that's undeniable 6.5/10
Intriguing show. Seeing this abusive relationship play out the way it did, even though im not satisfied in how it ended I understand why. You shulang and his forgiveness and virtue, fan xiaos' 'atonement' and sin, As we see through the passage of time and how thier complexity of desire hatred and love (what that looks like for theses characters) morphs and changes was very perplexing to watch. The show give us a good understanding of these characters, their mindset and how thier environments impacted them. I finished watching it in 2 days glad i hit play.
sun is a master at chess he's pulling all the strings and I'm interested to see how this will play out in the last ep and given the show i doubt it will be pretty also Nong and wi are so sweet and you can tell they really ground each other, nong can be rash with his actions and wi is always there to clean his mistakes no matter how dirty the work of a politician also what stuck with me most for ep 7 was jump and nis convo about how his reputation will be stationed and how hell come to regret it in the future it nice to see his voice on it and how ex cons are seen within society
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this show, but I've enjoyed it so much since I caught up to episode 6 and I understand that some may not like it because of its strong political focus and secondary romance. The relationship is impacted by the situation around them and they learn and grow together from the corruption that lies within politics and how it shapes them and i love it . this show echoes real life politics so well i really like the way we so much flaw in all the characters. like at the beginning their is so much hope and you actually think nong will b e able to make those changes but then we are met with a harsh reality and greedy people who get in the way of progress I'm not to well known on Thai politics but i see a lot of similarities in my own country
I actually really enjoyed this if ur not a fan of the miscommunication trope i wouldn't recommend but i really liked it especially the 2nd half of the show
6.5/10
