“As much as I want Jinman to be alive, it would make no sense for him to put his niece in so much danger”If…
He was there to protect her this entire time, knowing Bale was still alive, how could he think he wouldn't come after her out of revenge the second he was out of the picture? I also don't know why Bale took so long to come after Jinman and not even directly at him. As for the training, he taught her how to shoot but it was late in life that she decided herself to learn how to fight. He didn't really trained her to be at the level to defend herself from Bale and his former team, he just gave her the basics. There is no learning to survive if you're dead. I love that she's realistically not perfect at it, like you said she's learning on the job. But the danger here is too high for a first time and I lile to believe that Jinman wouldn't put her niece in so much danger considering how much he cares for her. looking forward to see if he's alive or not 😬
2023 was a mess, not one decent kdrama, even the RARE "good" one were not up to what we got the years beforenot…
Moving was good too, My dearest was great for the first part (not surprising since they just copied Gone with the wind), it went downhill on the second part, they lost me at the amnesia trope, I didn't even watch the last two episodes. The rest I haven't seen since it's not my type of dramas and from what I have seen from the plot, they weren't good enough for me to try them haha. Still no good thrillers though! It's all about taste in the end, you're lucky 2023 was great for you, I was bored T_T
The amount of men like Bale we have in the army all over the world. So many psycho join the forces to have a legal right to kill and many even brag about it, crazy. It's pretty good so far but I have no idea how they are going to end this show. With only 2 episodes left I feel they can only stick to the main trope and we get to see if she survives Bale and his guys or not, no more, no less.
As much as I want Jinman to be alive, it would make no sense for him to put his niece in so much danger just to test her or something. She's lucky she's still alive. Why would he call Pasink to tell him he is no longer in debt? I know his death is weird because why would Bale agree for him to die like that when he's itching to kill him himself ? Also why didn't Jung Min call Bale to tell him to come take a look at Jinman's body, instead of calling the police? Plus the whole tub scene was just weird, it didn't look like he entered the bathroom a few seconds prior. If you think Bale has your niece, and you know he loves to kill, why would he spare her if you killed yourself ? He wouldn't.
At first I though him listening the recording multiple time was to confirm that it was fake and that she was safe. I thought he might have faked his death to come at Bale by surprise without expecting his niece to be in danger (why wouldn't she be though ??). I thought maybe that was why Bale changed his mind and demanded for Jian to be brought alive. Either he discovered Jinman was alive or he caught Jinman and wanted his niece to die in front of him. But then why ask Jung Min to kill her ?
Looking forward to see where this goes but like I said, with only 2 episodes left, I don't think we're going with a deeper ending than the original plot of her surviving or dying at the hand of Bale's men.
How the heck that psycho Bale guy has kept his job for so long? He's a liability to the merc company. Also, come…
"How the heck that psycho Bale guy has kept his job for so long?" He loves killing people and is therefore good at it. Never leaves witnesses alive, no remorse. On paper, he's the best type of mercenary you would want as long as results are there.
As for the family, he didn't think they would be in danger because the only guy who threatened them was supposedly dead. By the time he learned Bale was alive, his family was already dead.
Tell me a drama that has the same storyline and settings as this one then I’ll understand your point, 2 episodes…
Why are you hurt ? Did you write this one ? lmao the whole "they knew each other before and then they meet again at their lowest point" is one of the most common trope there is
is it cliche guys ??? when is a good kdrama gonna be released?? feels like it takes 4 5 months for a good one…
2023 was a mess, not one decent kdrama, even the RARE "good" one were not up to what we got the years before not one good thriller (at least that I'm aware of), it was a very very dry year
aren't they tired to always make the same kdrama over and over and over again? if korean people could stop watching them so the writers are force to try and be a bit original that would be great. even actors should have a bit of dignity and self respect and stop accepting roles in recycled kdramas
being rich in Korea or anywhere else, especially a huge [insert powerful name] group with political influence,…
Perhaps but the initial bling bling doesn't make me want to stay and found out. I won't last through whatever they are doing with him and his conglomerate privileges. The whole "kidnaping video" thing was tacky and then the bike scene to join the police force... it's just too much, I found it too ridiculous. It's why I wondered if writers think they can get away with the weirdest shit by just saying "well he can do that, he's rich". It's not my type of kdrama lol. I was looking forward to ABH in another drama so I'm annoyed that he chose one where the writing is not what I usually enjoy.

When I said "they can do whatever they want", I meant the writers. Hiding behind "our character is rich" for everything and anything is not good writing imo. As for Batman, it's specifically because he has no ties in politics that the whole thing can work, it makes is interesring. It's a personal opinion but having every power just because of money works good for a vilain, not a hero, cuz then it's just boring.
Why do writers think that having a character be rich af mean they can do/write whatever they want ? Not 10 minutes in and it's already not credible and ridiculous. Batman did it better but then the budget is not really the same I guess.
Regarding the mouthing of the words its common practice with ASL but it might not be common in KSL. That is something…
Mouthing of words is indeed common in KSL though not as pronounced as other sign languages. People are also very expressive with their face, unlike ML.
This is my third drama where the main actress is in and she really just has one act doesn't she. She plays all of her roles the same way. She has this sloow way of acting. One would think that it's because she takes her time since she also has to sign and she isn't fluent yet and that would be a justifiable way to act like that, except she's like that in other roles too, it's annoying.
Also someone tell main actor that deaf people don't keep their mouth shut in a single line when they sign just because they don't speak. They mouth their words. Not always, but still.
Anyway, I think it's fucked up that sign language is not mandatory in school, there is not reason to collectively accept the idea of not being able to communicate with people from our own country juste because they're deaf.
lmao imagine taking drama classes, going to many auditions, being an extra, trying to make it big, and in the end the leading roles are given to random kpop idols and reality tv candidats who have no experience and half your talent.
The problem about this season is that we had too many participants who were just background noises which made the whole season mostly about Gwan Hee. Waiting for the one couple who never got to go to paradise to finally go was entertaining, but then that's it. Jin Seok and Minyoung are both business owners in two different cities so far away, they were never going to be a real thing and it was a given for them from their first time in Paradise. Except no one was interest in Minyoung and Jin seok was interest in nobody else (except Minjin but she pushed him aside real quick), so of course they were going to choose each other. Gyu ri went with the one guy who came to her because she didn't have any other options but we can tell she wasn't that interested. And the last two guys were just side side side side side characters.
That leaves us with Gwan Hee and his three girls. I don't know how these women kept their cool with all his questions, all his "ifs" and "whats", it pissed me off and it was draining meeeeee. Everytime I would huff and puff and then the panelists would too and I was like "I know, right ?!". Why was he soo tiring like that lol. Maybe the women recognize him and that's why they went after him (I mean, a guy with money, in this economy ? who says no), but realistically who would stick around a guy who is constantly asking for words of affirmation and compliments and just praises in general when you don't even know him for that long ? One that's always asking you to be firm on your feelings for him but never is about his for you ? One who won't accept you being interested in anyone else but he can safely name three women he has his eyes on. One who's allowed to be unsure about his feelings for you but if you are unsure yourself, you're out. Outside of that he looks fun and probably nice to be around but the editing of the show really emphasised the worst he had to offer from my point of view. As a woman it was annoying to see these women run after a guy like that... Especially after they talked about it after the bonfire when he named the three girls he was respectively 33% interested in. I thought "YES ! Let him be, fuck him!". Well that didn't last... lol.
But well, he also has his attributes I guess since I don't even hate him lol. It was entertaining in a way but I wouldn't be able to watch another season like this one honestly haha.
